Our room was beautiful and spacious, featuring a balcony with a stunning sunset view that was the highlight of our evenings. As a couple looking for adventure, we loved the island tour package recommended by the staff.
They handled every detail with care, providing a private driver to the port, a delicious prepared meals, and a private boat just for us, which really made us feel like VIPs. Having the boat to ourselves meant we could enjoy the beauty of the islands at our own pace without the crowds. Our guide was exceptional and made the entire trip worry-free. Our only regret was not bringing the kids! This is truly the perfect spot for anyone wanting a mix of comfort and adventure without the stress of planning. A 10/10 experience!
My sister originally booked us at a popular hotel on the boulevard, but I honestly regretted staying there because it had no class, dirty rooms, and poor service. I don’t understand the good feedback that place gets, or why the restaurant is busy when the food isn't even good.
I wish we had stayed at Treasure Island for our whole trip instead. The rooms are spacious, the AC is really really cold, and the front desk associates are so helpful with every query. The location is perfect, right in the center of the parade routes and main activities. It saved us a fortune in pricey tricycle fares (especially with the oil hike!) since it’s so accessible to the Rodeo Arena. Thank you for making our stay memorable; we will definitely be back!
I’m honestly not the type of guy to leave feedback because I’m usually too lazy to bother, but this hotel is simply too good not to share. When I arrived, the lobby was crowded even though it wasn't even peak season, that’s when I just knew I’d made a great choice.
The highlight for me was the 7-phase pool. It is such a cool, one-of-a-kind concept for a hotel in the province, and I’m pretty sure it’s the only one in Masbate that offers something like this. I was surprised to find out later that it’s officially a 3-star hotel because the service was truly exceptional; it definitely feels like it deserves a higher rating. Plus, the location is in its prime, right in the city center and walking distance to the mall and shops. I also really appreciated the police outpost right outside; it gave me that extra sense of security when roaming around the city at night. You won't regret staying here!
I like the staff very accommodating and friendly.
The WiFi is bad I barely able to send message to my family. Also the cleaning isn’t good I had to request to change my pillowcases because it’s filthy. Lastly, the reception doesn’t answer the call I called many times and none of them is answering even though there were 2-3 people.
It was clean, and the staff was friendly.
There were roaches and on two occasions we saw rats in the restaurant dining room.
Location was great
Breakfast was bad
Way over price
Staff was great very helpful and nice
Central location
No hot water for showers
The location and the staff
The room provided was terribly small compared to the listed room option I paid for.
It's a decent hotel in the middle of the town. Good location. Functional facilities.
Staff assisted my needs as I need to prepare for our business errands right before check in.
Ms Nida from housekeeping iron my clothes asap.
Massage was great! Ate of reception on nightshift, she's also the masseuse and the one who prepared our breakfast before we checked out. Ham & egg sandwhich was good.
Lobby is kinda hot.
Reception needs to be more attentive on urgent matters.
I didn't had a chance to eat the silog breakfast but they prepared the ham sandwich instead.
Hoping they can offer a takeaway for silog meals.
Small decent rooms.
It turned out better than expected. The room was clean and fresh, the air-conditioning worked fast, and the staff quickly brought extra towels and water. Wi-Fi was steady for video calls, and the pool stayed open until 9 p.m.—perfect after exploring the city. This was contrary to other negative comments claiming the pool closed at 5 p.m., but when I asked the staff who assisted me, they confirmed it actually closes at 9 p.m. The location is very ideal, just a short walk to the pier and night market, and the Chinese restaurant upstairs serves generous, flavorful dishes. Overall, it was a smooth and comfortable stay in Masbate City.
The hotel had plenty of amenities—I stayed in all day and didn’t get bored. Breakfast featured tasty Masbate delicacies, and the in-house Chinese restaurant was convenient and had great food.
Only downside was missing early check-in due to full booking, but it was understandable with many guests checking out around noon.
Probably one of the better options in town besides the cherish hotel. The rooms were clean, restaurant had great food and staff was friendly. Would recommend.
Stayed here during the Rodeo Festival and it truly made the experience unforgettable! The hotel is in a prime location just right at the center of the action, the Rodeo Parade just in front of this hotel no need to walk far away, with the rodeo arena just nearby and the Juego de Toro happening right in front. My room was cold and super comfortable, especially the bed which made it easy to relax after the festivities. With the lively city ambience and everything within walking distance the location of this hotel is just perfect. Also, I don’t need to go to arena because I just watched the fireworks display just in front of this hotel.
Not worth the aggravation. Photos, dining inside, room service, air conditioning, hot water are extremely poor. Serious issue with reservations. I booked through Expedia for 3 nights and the hotel had the wrong dates and never mentioned it until the last night so I had to purchase an extra night. Seriously stay away from this place! I stand by my review because its accurate and true. Going through Expedia for a refund on that extra night the hotel charged me.
