Amari Don Muang Airport Bangkok will be undergoing an extensive renovation from 02 May 2025 to 30 September 2026. The renovation will include the selected guest rooms and the lobby, with the time to be conducted during working hours on weekdays to minimize noise and disturbance.

Was not told half the hotel was closed down and the connection bridge closed
Was emailed that the hotel was go for renovation next month not now.
Had to drag suitcase across a public overhead crossing and around to the back of the hotel

Cons:

Condition of hotel was like a building site outside, gym, airport link skybridge out of order. Hotel is really tired inside, Amari branding inappropriate for what feels like a 2 star hotel, not value for money. Specifically requested quiet room with good internet. First room given was next to construction and drilling. New room internet and key card did not work initially, resolved later. Extremely poor value for money and should be re-branded.

It’s the amari. As expected. Top class

Cons:

Having a renovation at the time. Can’t be helped. So all good . Had to be taxi to the terminal. All paid by amari.

Very nice hotel but under renovation
Pros:

Nice place with comfortable room. Some parts of hotel seem to be under renovation at the moment.

Cons:

The reason I booked was for its proximity walking distance from the airport. Unfortunately the bridge leading to the hotel being under repair /renovation, the hotel organizes shuttle which is not as convenient. Not sure I’ll book my room here in my return flights in a few days
