The reception staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating.
The room was clean and warm.
The pool was warm and we enjoyed the sauna too.
Breakfast was lovely.

Cons:

Maybe a few extra biscuits in the room on arrival as there was one packet between 2 people!

Short and bloody sweet. Had an amaze time for only spending 1 night. Would deffo be coming back

Hotel is dated. Rooms are modern-ish but my room had a Glad air freshener belting out a strong smell which wasn't pleasant and probably hiding musty smells.

Good enough, function for what was needed, but nothing special.
Pros:

The staff was both helpful and polite at the Reception and at Breakfast time, which made a difference to the stay.

Cons:

The shower was not fit for purpose, as water spilled over onto the bathroom floor during use, creating a potential safety hazard. It appeared that the design or installation does not contain the water within the shower area.

Additionally, the room size was disappointing. It was noticeably smaller than what we would typically expect for a similar price at a Premier Inn. This was particularly surprising given that this is a Holiday Inn.

We ordered garlic bread which was on a cheap round breadcake and I complained nobody bothered to ask me about it.

Poor room. Fire doors propped open. External doors propped open (direct to hallways so anyone could enter unnoticed) phone in room not connected. Furniture requiring repar. Sink blocked.... need i go on

You get what you pay for, cheap but OK
Pros:

It was cheap and staff were great. Hotel breakfast was lovely!

Cons:

The rooms were dated(massively) the floor would have been a better option than the pull out sofa bed.The pool area was dull, dark and not very welcoming.
