Please note that the hotel is only accessible by cable car from 8:45 am to 5 pm.

In winter, the hotel is only accessible by cable car from Champéry

- Cable cars at Champéry run from 09:00 to 17:00
- The last cable car to the hotel leaves at 16:45
- Once in Planachaux, the hotel is accessible on skis in winter
- The hotel is located on the slopes, at altitude
- 25 minutes from Champéry by car (in summer)
- Accessible only by cable car
- Half-board is mandatory in winter

In summer, the hotel is accessible by car as well.

Superb location, friendly staff and exceptional food
Pros:

Plain Ciel is in a fabulous location in the mountains with beautiful views. The quality of the food is excellent. Fresh baked bread and croissants for breakfast with homemade jams and dinner every night was outstanding with a varied set menu. The desserts were to die for.

Cons:

It wasn't a big issue, but the hotel is quite tricky to get to involving a reasonable walk through the snow down from the cable car station and then a walk down through the snow to the chairlift on departure day.

Emplacement unique perché à 1800m, accessible seulement en télécabine l’hiver. Roof top à la vue incroyable, repas délicieux et petit déjeuner roboratif

Pros:

lieu splendide au pied des pistes et la tête dans les étoiles, restauration et service de qualité

Cons:

Même si la propreté était irréprochable, le design des chambres est un peu veillot mais cela ne préjore absolument pas l'expérience de le moment passé.

Top Lage und ein herrlicher Aufenthalt mit sehr freundlichen und aufmerksamen Gastgebern.
Pros:

Eine perfekte Lage Ski in- und out...Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich, Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, auch das Essen war sehr schmackhaft. Ein Kompliment an die Küche und ebenfalls an das aufmerksame Personal. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft auf alle Fälle weiter. Das Hotel ist zwar schon etwas älter jedoch mit viel Liebe zum Detail dekoriert und man fühlt sich sehr wohl.

Cons:

Da gab es gar nichts...;-) Es war wirklich ein traumhafter Aufenthalt.

Zal er niet nog een keer heen gaan
Pros:

Mooi uitzicht op de bergen . En heel rustgevend

Cons:

De afstand er naar toe was drama De weg was bijna niet aan te rijden alleen maar zandweg . Langs de afgrond en kan geen verkeer tegemoet komen . Je zit heel hoog en aan de zijkant van de weg kijk je gelijk het ravijn in. Wij hebben dit niet als prettig ervaren.

Du pur bonheur
Pros:

Le petit déjeuner est correct, sans plus. Par contre le repas du soir était excellent, très raffiné. Le personnel très agréable, gentil et serviable. Cela a été une expérience très positive que je renouvellerai avec grand plaisir.

Sehr gerne wieder!
Pros:

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Abendmenus haben uns sehr geschmeckt, mit oder auch ohne Fleisch. Die Lage gleich an der Skipiste ist perfekt, um jeden Sonnenstrahl zu geniessen. Die Aussicht ist fantastisch!

Cons:

Das Hotel ist ringhörig, oberhalb des Zimmers hörten wir bis spät in die Nacht die anderen Gäste herumlaufen.

Être en pleine nature, la magnifique vue où que l'on soit, la terrasse panoramique et la salle de détente (accessibles tout le temps, ce qui est très appréciable), le spa sans frais supplémentaires, le petit déjeuner frais et varié, la chambre et la salle de bain spacieuses, la sympathie du personnel

Cela n'a en rien gâché notre séjour, nous avons adoré séjourner à l'hôtel Plein Ciel mais s'il fallait citer quelque chose, on dirait: le parquet qui était très bruyant ; les murs (chambre/salle de bain dans bâtiment "refuge") qui mériteraient peut-être d'être repeints ;-) ; la route bien que très jolie néccecite d'être à l'aise avec les manœuvres en cas de croisements :-)
