Horrible service 2 times left breakfast note and fully charged is
The staff were horrible and accused us of smoking when we were not because cigarette was snapped and put in bin from after night out in town phoned up to debate the photos in question and hung up on and took 250 pounds out my bank without autherisation absoulete joke of a hotel
Everything was great. The rooms were looking a bit old but it was very clean. The staff was very friendly and took the time to explain to us everything. The food was delicious as well. We had dinner and everything was very well prepared the breakfast was with very good and big choice. The staff was adding more food straight away which doesn’t happen in a lot of hotels. The pool wasn’t as warm as we expected but it was still nice and the kids had fun. I would definitely go there again and recommend the place
All was great
Aberdeen ist gut gelegen für Erkundigungen nördlich und südlich von Aberdeen. War prima😀
the room and
shower was excellent
nothing to report.
No fridge in room noisy adjacent shower due to high water pressure and walls were too thin as could hear neighbours
The property was generally good and most staff were very friendly.
I didn’t appreciate the dirty toilet in our room which had a faeces lying in the bowl, when I reported it to the girl on reception she was quite patronising when I said I always look for the cleanliness of the bathroom and bed in any accommodation I use. She replied with yes when she goes away she looks for snakes and rats in the toilet bowl with a smirk on her face.
Space in room
Not enough time to go swimming
Lovely welcome at check-in
The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable.
We had a lovely evening meal and breakfast.
I am Coeliac and didn't have any problems, staff very helpful.
The swimming pool was a lovely bonus.
Leaving
We loved the swimming pool and the bus stop into the town is right next to the hotel.
We went to the restaurant for dinner and was very disappointed, we ordered fish and chips and the fish was burnt also we ordered onion rights and they came out very burnt had to send those back and the new bunch came out just as bad as the first bunch. I had the pasta with chicken and chorizo sausage and the sausage was very thick and it wasn't cooked. That is the only thing that let the hotel down.
Everything
Nothing
peaceful.. easy to get to
We love everything about the hotel. It is our second home. We stay there repeatedly which speaks for itself
Nothing
Where do I start! What an absolute HELLHOLE!!!! The room was outdated by about 30 years, cold and incredibly basic. The mattress must have been 20 years old. We booked for a nice valentines meal and overnight stay. The staff in the restuarant rushed us into ordering, actually took away my plate while I was still eating as they were clearly expecting to be busy, however after 2 hours and being harrassed to order each course quickly, literally given 30 seconds to decide a dessert, they then backed off as they were not busy, so we were told we could stay at our table. On return to the room which was like something from the 1990s, next door were smoking drugs, screaming and shouting and someone was threatening to kill themselves, this persisted for 12.15 to 1.30am when we decided enough was enough and checked out and came home.
The hotel is situated next to a electricity plyon which buzzed most of the night and an alarm for what seemed from a next door warehouse started at around 1am and was still continuing when we left. I understand these things are out of the hotels control, but just added to the horrendous experience!
What an absolute disgrace. Quite possibly the worst ever hotel Ive ever stayed in. As we were leaving, there was another party in one of the rooms going nuts in the next corridor to our room. If you want somewhere quiet and stress free, do not go here!
They must have been awarded the 4 stars in 1988, I wouldn't rate this 1 star let alone 4!!!!!!!! You have been warned, stay here at your own risk!!!!
Unsafe for families and children due to ongoing parties and out of control behaviour, drug use and extremely drunk guests, which seemed to be acceptable with the night porter!
Now after calling the next day, no offer of any sort of refund. Looking at many of the good reviews demonstrates they are clearly false and AI generated.
Good staff lovely pool
