Borkum Island is partially car free.

Please note that the schedule for Borkum’s Island ferry is continually changing, as ferry-crossing times are dependent on the tides.
The travel time from Emden Ferry Port to Borkum Island is approximately 130 minutes, including a ride on the Island’s Inselbahn (train). Guests can leave their cars at Emden Ferry Port, which has a large car park.

Guests intending to arrive outside reception hours are kindly asked to contact the hotel in advance.

Please note that dogs are not allowed on the property.

Schöner Aufenthalt
Pros:

Wir haben sehr spontan gebucht und wurden absolut positiv überrascht. Das Hotel liegt direkt neben dem Bahnhof der Inselbahn, was die Anreise besonders unkompliziert macht.

Schon beim Check-in wurden wir herzlich empfangen. Unser Zimmer war modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber und insgesamt wirklich zum Wohlfühlen.

Ein besonderes Highlight war der Besitzer, der uns mit tollen Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt versorgt hat. Auch das gesamte Team war durchweg freundlich und aufmerksam.

Das Frühstück war lecker und abwechslungsreich. Es war wirklich für jeden etwas dabei.

Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Die Lage, direkt an der Inselbahn Endstation mitten im Zentrum ist perfekt. Ausstattung wird gerade stilsicher modernisiert und steht vor der Finalisierung. Lockere Atmosphäre trotz Hotel. Getränkeservice und kostenlos Tee. Haus mit Charme. Sehr freundliche Inhaber und zuvorkommendes Personal. Zimmer-WLAN und -TV auf neuestem Stand.

Cons:

In meinem Zimmer war leider nur ein kleines Gäste-Handwaschbecken im Bad.

Pros:

Super nettes Personal, alles sehr sauber. Jeden Tag eine nette Flaschenpost auf dem Frühstückstisch mit Wetteransage, Ausflugstip usw., die auch mit den Sprüchen einem morgens schon ein Lächeln ins Gesicht zaubert. Ein super familiengeführtes Hotel. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Guter Aufenthalt, Zimmer dürfen aber modernisiert werden.
Pros:

Super Lage, tolles Frühstück und sehr netter Service (Koffer konnte am Abreisetag noch deponiert werden solange man noch etwas unternehmen wollte). 👍🏻

Cons:

Die Fensterrahmen waren nicht ganz dicht, der Wind pfiff durch den Rahmen.

Ein sehr zu empfehlendes Haus, mein Einzelzimmer sauber und modern eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet ließ keinen Wunsch offen, dass Personal überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Immer wieder gerne.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit sehr guter Lage.
Pros:

Es ist ein kleines aber feines Hotel. Das hat uns sehr gefallen, da man es dadurch sehr genießen konnte.

Cons:

Es ist nur zur Hälfte renoviert und dadurch war es im gesamten nicht ganz stimmig. Aber da wir im renovierten Teil waren hat es uns nicht gestört.

Ein außergewoehnlich gutes Fruehstueck!
Abends konnte man sich aus dem Kuehlschrank noch Getraenke holen.
