Cascada Boutique Hotel

Central location, very close to train station. Superb restaurant as part of the hotel, which was excellent. Fabulous breakfast. Super helpful accommodating staff. Very clean room.

Wir hatten ein sehr kleines Zimmer. Aber es war alles da, was man braucht! Das Frühstück war super! Und sehr nettes Personal beim Frühstück!

The Cascada is a great little hotel, with a friendly vibe and thoughtful “extras”—free drinks in the minibar, bins of umbrellas to borrow during rainstorms (handy during our visit), refillable water bottles, and more. We chose this hotel partly for its proximity to the railway station and were delighted to find it extremely quiet even with the trains nearby. Even the annual Fasnacht carnival outside didn’t break the calm. The hotel is also an easy five-minute walk from the historic center and is located in a cafe-filled neighborhood of its own, with beautiful art nouveau architecture. We had a great dinner at the Bolero restaurant, too. A couple of tips: upgrading to a “medium”-size room was a very good call. It was perfect for two people; anything smaller might have been a bit too cozy. And DO take advantage of the transit pass included in every hotel reservation in Luzern. Especially in inclement weather, it’s great to be able to hop on any train, bus, or tram to get around the city.

Sobe uredne, čiste, tople, osoblje ljubazno.U sobi se nalazi mini bar koji besplatno možete konzumirati i koji se svakog dana nadopunjuje. Doručak odličan! Navečer se moze lijepo opustiti na baru uz stručno predstavljanje pića. Blizina centra, javni prijevoz odlično povezan sa svim atrakcijama koje smo željeli posjetiti. Blizina pristaništa broda, ukoliko želite krstariti jezerom ili posjetiti neki planinski vrh.

We had a wonderful stay at Cascada Hotel in Lucerne. The staff were exceptionally friendly, with Rae making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived—her warmth and professionalism really set the tone for our visit. The hotel is perfectly located, just a few minutes from the train station and an easy walk to the Old Town, as well as great bars and restaurants. Rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well appointed, and the on-site restaurant was excellent. A fantastic base for exploring this beautiful city.

The staff was welcoming, helpful and friendly. They helped with last minute reservations and got us into the place we couldn't get into on our own. The room was nice - mattress itself was comfy. The location couldn't be bet for our short stay - so close to everything - good food, tourist sights, and the train station. Oh and a nice touch with the glass water bottles that were easily refillable with two types of water.

Great location, lovely hotel with restaurant on the ground floor, comfortable bed and pillows, window that opened for fresh air, quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Great Breakfast

Tolles Personal in der Rezeption, Kleines, aber sehr gut eingerichtes Zimmer, Tolles Bad. Hotel und Zimmernummer merke ich mir.

Hotel molto bello camere pulite, dimensione giusta bagno ben atrezzato tutto molto bello il letto molto comodo e caldo staff gentile.

I stayed here for three nights and had a great experience. The room was clean and comfortable, the food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. If I have the chance to visit Lucerne again, I will definitely come back and stay here.
