A fun place to stay
Pros:

Idiosyncratic family run type hotel, there are fewer of these around these days as chains have taken over, but you have to like something a bit different. In this case an eclectic style of interior decoration, a location that is surrounded by town but looks out onto a lovely view. A mix of high end fittings (eg jacuzzi bath, electric bed) and the air of an antique shop. Nice old building and we like this kind of place but if you want sleek over character, then maybe you wouldnt.
Breakfast is in a lovely dining room and very French
