Beautiful surroundings with river on a little bridge
Location, staff friendly
Not good value for money, i got flea bites in room, the taps for the basin were below it and stiff very difficult to use, we wanted to order food one evening sat at the table and got ignored twice, I like the location. But would not book here again
breakfast was great but the staff did not know we ungraded to cooked breakfast and kept telling us we needed to pay. Location was great for the Farmers Dog pub and very pretty location.
We did have two issues in our room which the window did not lock and the safe had an error on it. we did not say until we left as we was running late to a appointment but did inform when we left.
Great breakfast, comfortable room, friendly staff & beautiful surroundings.
No issues come to mind.
Welcoming, fabulous pub with lots of character and very comfy rooms with all you could want. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful

Amazing location!! Couldn't have been better.
Very helpful & friendly staff.
We will be back but book a larger room.
Breakfast was rather disappointing. I asked for scrabbled eggs with crispy bacon.
Eggs were cold & just about done bacon.
Staff were very friendly but not great listeners.
Bedroom was lovely but very small , very comfy bed.
Loved the small fridge & supper shower.
Beautiful location lovely staff

Location was rustic and tranquil, restaurant food and drink was very good.
Room was small and somewhat dark.
Lovely location.
We made this booking last year for a wedding and I had asked lots of times for our room to be ready early as the we had to be at the wedding for 12:30 and check in wasn’t until three. When we got there our room wasn’t ready and my partner needed to get changed. Others who were attending the wedding got their room early. We dropped off our suitcase and was told it would be delivered to our room ready. No when we came for checking in the case was still at reception. Our room was very far away and was very noisy in the morning and they could do with some better blinds. It was very dark walking to our room at 1pm in the morning. In the morning we didn’t know how to get back to reception to checkout.
Where it was located, nice drive to the farmers dog pub which is where we went for dinner, how clean it was, the barn look of it was gorgeous, the rooms were lovely and the beds were so comfortable.
Everything was lovely

Stayed from 1st–3rd May and this was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. Check-in is advertised as 3pm, yet our room wasn’t ready until 4pm.
The first room was completely unacceptable—dirty, mould on the bathroom tiles and window nets, broken fixtures, and visible grime throughout. The so-called “garden view” was nothing more than an overgrown wall. This is basic hygiene and maintenance, not a high expectation.
We were moved to another room which, while larger, was still not up to standard. To make matters worse, there was a needle left on the windowsill—an obvious and serious safety hazard.
Overall, this hotel falls well below acceptable standards in both cleanliness and safety. Extremely poor value for money and not somewhere we would return to or recommend.
Where the hotel was located
Our superior room was not superior. No lock on back door had come off. Fence was broken in courtyard enabling people to come into our backyard. Understaffed for breakfast didnt recieve tea and coffee as they forgot our table and served others. Breakfast was extra with being able to choose one or two items. So we left and went elsewhere.
The location
Cheap furniture , staff not very helpful
