Pros:

A beautiful elegant and understated hotel. The staff were very professional, with concierge and porter services readily available. The rooms are spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable especially the bed. Marble bathrooms and separate toilet/bidet, and quality toiletries. The shower wasn’t quite powerful enough for my preference, but that’s a minor personal point. The air conditioning is modern and effective, and when I needed help to work it, the concierge arrived within minutes to assist. We stayed in a balcony room (306) with a fantastic sea view. However, it’s worth noting that noise from the promenade is constant, day and night. For that reason, I would personally opt for a room without a sea view on a future visit. The breakfast is very good indeed, lots of choice, plenty of waiting staff and opens out to the sea views. The bar area also opens onto the seafront, with both covered and open seating and waiter service. We didn’t use the spa as we spent most of the time outside, but it looked amazing. Overall, and beautiful hotel with excellent service in a prime location.

Cons:

the balcony sea view rooms were stunning but the noise from the promenade kept us awake at night.
The shower lacked power.

No air conditioning, the beds are not comfortable, the TV cable is really bad, the internet is slow, they don't have electric plugs on both sides of the bed so only one person can charge the cellphone

Pros:

Loved how spacious our seaview room was and the views were fabulous. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Sleep was disturbed on occasions with noisy vehicles/people on Promenade.

Прекрасное расположение в самом центре, удобные подушки и матрас, прекрасный вид из окна, отель с красивым интерьером и старинной мебелью, вкусная еда на завтраке.

Cons:

Невкусный кофе на завтраке. Очень удивило отсутствие крепления для душевой лейки в ванной, мыться можно только держа лейку в руке.

Pros:

I am eating the bar as it was full of nostalgia as I’ve been visiting for over 35 years for drinks. I took my girlfriends this time and we visited four times and even on an evening with a band playing. Lovely rosé wine, champagne and Cointreau on the rocks

Pros:

Wonderful location!! Beautiful building from the early 1900’s ❤️. Clean and comfortable.

Cons:

The thermostat in the rooms do not work independently 😳 I asked and they explained to me that the whole hotel is under one HVAC system so you can not make your room colder. I had to sleep a couple of nights with my window open to get the fresh air from the outside (nights were in the 50’s at the time of my visit) 🤗

Cons:

Aucune insonorisation des fenêtres. On avait l'impression de dormir sur la Promenade donc au bord de l'autoroute car axe routier très fréquenté jour et nuit.
Petit déjeuner passable et pas digne d'un hôtel 4 étoiles.
Très peu de rangements dans la chambre.
Junior suite avec 2 petits fauteuils, un bureau et un tabouret.
SPA payant et sur réservation (en panne lors du séjour).

Great location and breakfast but rooms are not soundproof to outside traffic and people.
Pros:

It’s in a really good location on the seafront and a stroll away from the main attractions. The breakfast is also very good. The beds are great as I like them firm.

Cons:

The rooms are not soundproof, so you hear people and traffic noise all night. Bring earplugs or noise canceling headphones. The double glazing doesn’t really work. I was also mischarged on my bill. They did sort this out but it took a few days.
