The location was great as was our room. We had a balcony overlooking the méditerranéen. Breakfast was delicious especially the bacon and scrambled egg. The hôtel has a lovely bar with a balcony. I recommend this hotel.

The hotel has the best location in Nice on the Promenade des Anglais offering a room with a view right on the sea. This is the best asset of this hotel.
As much as I can live with a shower without water pressure (Maintenance came to fix, kind but shower went from no to super low pressure), as much as I can live with a room cleaned at 3.30pm when door sign was put at 9.30am, as much as I can live with an overall cold emotionless staff from check-in to check-out, I find difficult to be charged such a price and not having an espresso machine but a kettle. That would have made the experience more acceptable... :-) This being said, if you dont care about having a morning proper coffee while watching the beauty of Nice waterfront, the location is a MUST.
Location was great. View from the balcony was just amazing. Breakfast was very good.

The facilities were well appointed, clean and location on Promenade was convenient. But the standout was the staff. They were friendly, and helpful.

Disappointing stay — service far below expectations
I normally very rarely write negative hotel reviews, but our experience at Hotel Westminster was disappointing and, unfortunately, did not reflect the standard we expected from a 4-star hotel.
We stayed in two Superior Double Rooms, including room 516 with sea view and balcony.
The shower in room 516 had extremely low water pressure, making a normal shower genuinely difficult. I would actually invite the General Manager to come and take a shower in this room and experience it personally. Sometimes a problem is much easier to understand when you experience it yourself rather than hear an explanation about it.
The balcony was initially provided without a table, while an ashtray was simply left on the floor. A table was eventually brought only after repeated requests.
There was also no coffee machine in the room. Instead, we were provided with a few tea bags and instant coffee sachets. When we asked at reception about a coffee machine, we were told that they are only provided in suites. For a Superior room, this felt rather disappointing.
In our second room, 501, there were no slippers, and we were again told that slippers were not included in that room category.
What was particularly confusing was the contradiction between departments: housekeeping apparently considered room 501 a regular room, while reception insisted that it was a Superior room.
The Wi-Fi was practically unusable, which is difficult to understand in a modern hotel.
Unfortunately, the overall attitude of some staff members was also disappointing. There were occasions when guests were not even greeted in the lobby, and when we raised issues, the response often seemed to be an explanation of why something was not provided rather than an effort to solve the problem.
But perhaps the most disappointing part was the overall impression that nobody is really taking ownership of the hotel and, more importantly, of the guest experience.

Beach just across the street and lot's of places to go nearby.
Staff is helpfull and polite
Gym is very poor and no outside pool. Had to convince staff from SPA to allow me to take a shower after the day at the beach and after check out.
