We were given a wonderful welcome on arrival.
We had a room with all we needed and the best bit was the everyday servicing,we valued that as other places have dropped the ball and we will definitely return to Mercure.
This hotel has a beautiful lake behind and it worth searching out .
We sat in the garden on hot evenings to enjoy our drink from the bar.The staff our professional, attentive and friendly.On departure during the heat wave we were given water and Welsh cakes ,what a lovely gesture.W stayed as a couple on holiday ,the hotel is prepared for coaches ,seminars ,weddings ,wakes. We are so pleased we made the right choice .
The fan had broken feet and needed to be balanced

No lift, no air conditioning, so unbelievably hot and uncomfortable that we moved hotels the following day.

Reception and bar area really good. Rooms big let down. Musty smell in room carpet stained all needs updating. Bathroom lots black around bath and shower. It's very dated and old looking.

The room was exceptional, I had a room with a lounge which was really cosy. The breakfast is self serve and was definitely worth paying the extra. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
There was nothing I didn't like, everything was amazing and more.
