Nice sized room with friendly staff and good facilities
Very nice room and breakfast.
N/A
more tables to eat at in the bar area as we travelled with dog and were unable to have a table for breakfast as the only other one was being used by someone else with the same issues. There were a number of casual tables and chairs in the bar area but these are all lower and not easy to eat from
Very convenient for shopping. Nice lake behind hotel to walk your dogs. A very dog friendly hotel.
Very clean.
Staff very polite and friendly.
Rooms food size comfy.
Breakfast was nice & cooked well.
Location was a bit further away from town than liked but that’s our own fault.
Nothing
The hotel was in a poor state with stains on the wall and carpet. There was a bad smell everywhere. The room soundproofing was inexistent. Very bad value for money.
The staff were naturally friendly and helpful and not over-the-top - optimal customer service, efficient, couldn't have asked for more.
Comfortable beds.
Good shower and bathroom facilities.
Gym was v good.
While we were going to sleep from about 10:30 pm onwards, we could hear the steady beat of techno dance music nearby. It wasn't obvious if it was another guest or possibly a party or nightclub nearby. It finished at about 11:45 which is too late. It didn't stop us having a restful night but it delayed us getting to sleep.
The Bathroom. We found very difficult to get in and out from the shower.
The staff were lovely and helpful, the breakfast was tasty and you could have it in your room which was an added bonus, the room was spacious.
The room was extremely hot, but the hotel had supplied 2 fans but there is no plug sockets beside the bed so you had to plug them far away and that didn’t really help with the heat. There was also limited plug sockets within the room having to unplug other things to charge a phone or plug fan in.
The bar area and the meal l purchased was good. The staff on reception were very friendly and informative. Very knoledgable of the surounding area's and Swansea.
The hotel looked very tired and definitly in need of a refurbishment. The hotel is badly in need of air conditioning, With the hot weather it was difficult to sleep. Although the hotel did provide fans, all they did was blow the hot air around.
There was approximatly around 20 of us that stayed during the weekend and everyone was of the same dislikes about this hotel.
Overall it as a very nice hotel my only problem was i was hoping for a good night speep as i had an early start on the Saturday morning, sleeping by 8:30pm and some idiots decided to smoke in their room and set off the fire alarm at 11:45pm. So everyone was walking the corridors for about an hour trying to fine out whats wrong. I had left my key in the room so had to wait for someone to let me back in i know it wasn't the hotels fault. I gave a high score to the hotel, but a 0 score to the idiots
