Good location, worst treatment.
Pros:

Nothing to like...

Cons:

No showers working, no water in the shower, iron stand was broken, no usb sockets, no telephone to contact the reception. Once you get a hold of one of the reception people they ask you what went wrong and ignore you after 😅. When we booked the hotel the breakfast was included and when we got there they told us there's no breakfast. Anyway breakfast was awful food. Overall - very bad experience. We have photos if anyone interested. We give you the info you do what you consider 💪😄.

Good value stay with clean rooms and a lovely canal view
Pros:

The room was neat, clean, and well-equipped with good 3-star facilities including an iron and hairdryer. The view of the canal from the window was simply beautiful and added a peaceful touch to the stay. Good value for money overall.

Cons:

The reception staff could have been more polite and welcoming – a little respect goes a long way in hospitality. Apart from that, everything else was satisfactory.

Convenient, clean, good location, parking, competitively priced.
Pros:

Booked it late in the evening and the only room available had no windows. Not a problem at all as we just wanted to stay the night and leave early the following morning. The room and the bathroom were quite spacious and the bed felt quite comfy. Bedsheets and towels were clean. Huge TV on the wall straight opposite to the bed which was perfect for watching the World Cup. The location is very convenient to anyone travlling to Edinburgh and the parking (£7.50 for 24 hours) is worth it.

Cons:

Not much. I noticed that there was a machine pumping air in the corridor for the rooms without windows (just a guess). I hadn't thought of that when I booked the room but it would not change my mind.

Front desk needs to be trained . Rest was good.
Cons:

Insufficient body wash . One front desk girl was not hospitable . She was cold in her response to a difficulty . I had to insist on help being given to sort out lighting in the washroom.

No words to describe
Pros:

It was a second choice as my originally booked hotel was in Glasgow not Edinburgh. It was close to a great tea location

Cons:

It was about 45 minutes from Edinburgh Waverley. I was booked for 11 days and my room was never serviced. I had to continually stop at front desk for supplies.
