Can’t say enough good things
Pros:

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. I took my wife for our 20th anniversary and they were amazing. The concierge helped with making arrangements for me to give a surprise gift to my wife at dinner which turned out perfectly. The suite and the hotel as a whole was so perfectly done. I wouldn’t be able to find a flaw if I tried.

Thank you to everyone!

Exceptional Four Seasons stay
Pros:

A wonderful stay at Four Seasons Hotel Toronto. The hotel has an excellent location in Yorkville, a beautiful atmosphere, and genuinely friendly and professional service.

The breakfast was outstanding, with great quality and attention to detail. I also enjoyed the spa, which was one of the highlights of my visit. The Yorkville Massage was an exceptional experience, deeply relaxing and exactly what I needed after exploring the city.

A special thank you to Maryann at the bar, whose genuine smile, warmth, and attentive service made the experience even more memorable. It is these small personal touches that elevate a hotel from excellent to truly special.

Four Seasons delivers the kind of calm, elegant hospitality where every detail feels thoughtfully considered. I would happily return.

Belligerent Gatekeeping at the Front House — Took My Business Elsewhere
Pros:

I was actively trying to arrange a premium stay at this property, but the front house and receptionist culture completely killed any desire I had to spend my money here. The first impression was a textbook example of hostile, corporate gatekeeping.

When I called to inquire about specific room details, the main receptionist subjected me to what felt like an aggressive security audit. Before they would even consider connecting me to the front desk, I was grilled with questions: "What is your name?" "Why are you calling?" "Why are you asking for this person?" "Who are you?" They did everything in their power to block me from speaking to the front house, repeatedly trying to dump me back into a generic reservations queue. It was insulting, borderline belligerent, and incredibly unwelcoming. When I finally did get through to management on subsequent calls, two separate managers were entirely unhelpful and hid behind the exact same rigid, defensive scripts.

The contrast with other luxury properties is staggering. I had a fantastic first impression with the Four Seasons Resort Whistler, which actually understands high-end hospitality. Even compared to luxury properties like the intimate Hazelton Hotel & mega property Fairmont Royal York (their Fairmont Gold specifically), operations deliver a far superior sense of value and a completely different league of customer relations—warm, welcoming, and entirely devoid of this elitist pretense.

I eventually just gave up and took my business to a premium property that respects my time. The irony is that the food and beverage teams at d|bar and Café Boulud are excellent—professional and agile. But when core rooms management treats a pre-booking inquiry like an interrogation, the brand value proposition is completely broken. Save yourself the headache and book a modern lifestyle hotel or go where hospitality is actually valued.

Super quality hotel stay in one of the nicest neighbourhoods in Toronto!
Pros:

Top notch property in a wonderful neighbourhood with very helpful and attentive staff. Genuinely best place to stay in Toronto!

Cons:

The spare sofa bed could do with a topper mattress for a bit of added comfort - if I were to pick one thing.

Excellent front desk
Pros:

My stay at The Four Seasons was absolutely incredible. From the moment i arrived, everything felt elevated the atmosphere, the service, the attention to detail. The property itself is stunning, and every part of the experience felt seamless and luxurious. My stay unforgettable was Daniel, from front desk. It’s rare to meet someone who genuinely embodies what five-star service should feel like. No request felt too big or too small, and he handled everything with such calm confidence and professionalism.

Beautiful hotel, great food, service inconsistencies.
Pros:

I arrived on the Friday of a holiday weekend, Victoria Day, which could explain possible short staff issues. I had to ask several times for different items, and then someone came to my room who wasn't supposed to be there - by mistake. I was just surprised that the service level seemed lower than the other Four Seasons I've stayed at. Checking in with the person at reception was amazing and he gave me a room tour. I always bring candy from my hometown to share with the front desk staff which they always appreciate. When checking out, I was going to tell the person that there were issues with my stay but she never asked me "How was your stay?" She seemed to be in a hurry and it felt more like a Target checkout. Some of us may not look very fancy but being treated nicely should be available to everyone. Some of us have stayed at several Four Seasons and are loyal to the brand. Don't make us reconsider that. The food was great and the spa area was amazing. Just do better with service.

Terrible event
Pros:

“Attended the 2026 Montreal Salsa Convention at DoubleTree by Hilton Montréal on Friday and had a very disappointing experience.
Security was overly aggressive, searching personal bags and forcing guests to throw away sealed water bottles and Gatorade. Inside, the ventilation was terrible, rooms were overcrowded and extremely hot, and even paper cups of water were not allowed outside the ballroom.
There was also no proper space for jackets, so many people had to leave them on the floor.
I spoke with someone who identified himself as the hotel manager and was told this was “hotel policy.” When I politely asked where this policy was posted, he simply walked away without answering.
For a major paid event, the organization, customer service, and treatment of guests were far below expectations. I would not recommend this venue or event.”
