Houston Omni does it right.
Pros:

We attending the Family Life - “Weekend to Remeber” the the Houston Omni. We were COMPLETELY AMAZED by the service and hospitality! Very attentive and responsive to any need. The conference had 600 attendees and there was 3 weddings as well, and yet it didn’t feel crowded and we got more attention than needed or deserved. They were quick to comp something if not perfect. Well done!

My Omni Hotel Houston Experience
Pros:

Great experience. Great view. Great Customer Service. I would highly recommend staying here the dining and bar was excellent and the Black Swan was a fun nightlife experience with DJ, dancing, and karaoke. Shout out to overall cleanliness and service with honorable mention to their very large pools.

Staff is Amazing
Pros:

The drinks were amazing and the staff really goes out of their way to make sure you have a good experience. The poolside bar had the best drinks ever. I will definitely go back.

Pros:

Excellent place to stay and host a party. Location is central to many food and entertainment options. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Very little noise in the rooms so you can rest. Staff was friendly and professional

The best of both worlds
Pros:

It is always a pleasure to come back to the omni in Houston
This hotel combines the best of both worlds in Houston
Close to the Golf and running track of memorial park and a short drive from the many shops and restaurants near the Galeria area.
The fact that the Hotel has a well maintained large south facing swimming pool, is a great add on to relax or read while staying at the Hotel.
The fitness room is OK and never to crowded.
Finally the hotel Bar is also a very nice place to be.
Looking forward to be back in the renewed rooms this fall

A nice place to go to at the end of the day.
Pros:

The hotel is beautiful. The fact that it's a little older make is charming. The staff at the front desk are pleasant and helpful. The restaurant and bar is a lovely place to go "home" to at the end of a long day, fighting Houston traffic.

Service with a Smile, Can’t wait till I go back to the Omni in May!

The Omni in Houston is astonishing! From the moment you drive up, you are greeted and made to feel welcome. When you walk into the lobby, it is clean and inviting. You are then greeted by the front staff who are very focused on checking you in and ensuring your stay is the best. Joyce (front desk) greeted me and my family as if we were family. This lady is truly a professional and cares that your stay is the best. She gave my grand kids a welcome bag which they enjoyed. It is staff, such as Joyce that make me want to return to the Omni …. as a matter of fact, I already made a reservation for May. The pool is refreshing and well maintained. Going to Houston, stay at the Omni!

Pros:

Well, first off, the whole experience was ruined from the get go because when I went to check in at 4pm my room was not ready and I had to wait another 30 minutes. I was also never given any information about the amenities offered here. Then, the birdies bar closed at 10pm on a Saturday night which is very early and I was unable to use my free drink coupon there. Then I asked the server if I could use the card at the whiskey lounge next door and she said “it depends on the mood they are in” well they were in a bad mood that night and told me I’d have to use it at birdies the next morning. The next morning comes, and when I tried to use my card on the coffee I wanted I was told I couldn’t use it for that and could only get a basic coffee drink such as a latte. I was very disappointed because the price of the beverages were the exact same. Lastly, I tried to checkout online using the express checkout and get an error message saying I need to speak to someone at the front desk, just to find out that everything was fine, I didn’t owe anything on the room and apparently did not need to comeback inside. Overall a terrible experience, not one I expected from a brand of this caliber.

Quiet Spot in the Heart of the Galleria Area
Pros:

Exceptional service and super location a bit south of the Galleria. In a great part of town for shopping and restaurants.
Every one of the staff we encountered was extremely friendly and made us feel welcome.
Bar and coffee shop had good offerings and service.
Room was comfortable and the bed was divine!
