Ate breakfast at cafe. Food and coffee were excellent, as was service.
It’s dated and the rooms could use a refresh. The lobby is nice and modern and a place to “be seen” but the rooms are old and outdated, very dark and a/c unit was in the window, it didn’t cool the room at all. The restaurant the George was ridiculously expensive like insanely expensive and the food was funky and weird. The smoky fries were gross. And the hamburger dipped basically in soup was awful. We wanted a single glass of Pinot Noir and the waiter said there was only one available. We weren’t thinking one single glass of Pinot Noir would be all that expensive and he should’ve told us the price upfront. When we got the bill, they were $32 each! Outrageous. Also, when we checked into the room, I opened up the cabinet where the coffee maker was, and it’s in a pullout drawer. I tried to pull out the drawer, but it kept getting held up because the coffee maker plug was too short and it made it so you could not even fully open the drawer. This made the coffee maker completely unusable. I called the front desk to let them know and they said they would send someone right up. They did not so I had to completely rearrange the furniture which was heavy, figure out where the plug was plugged into, unplug it, and move everything around in the room to make room for the coffee maker on the desk. There were not enough plugs in the room and the plugs by the bedside were loose and would not hold your charger in. Honestly, it was a pretty bad experience. We were coming from the Pan Pacific Hotel in Vancouver, which was outstanding in every way and this just piled in comparison. Also, they don’t have a gift shop or anywhere. You can get bottled water other than room service. That’s just stupid.
Basically everything. It’s not convenient, it’s overpriced, it’s outdated, and the customer service was poor.
Hôtel très chic, les personnel est aux petits soins avec vous.
L’hôtel est selon moi très vieillissant, la piscine ne fait clairement pas piscine d’hôtel 5 étoiles.
10/10, I would highly recommend this hotel for both short and long stays. The building is beautiful, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well presented.
We had breakfast included with our stay, and it was excellent every morning, fresh, delicious, and with a great variety of options.
Throughout our stay, Lieu was incredibly helpful with all of our questions and requests. He was friendly, professional, and went out of his way to assist us, including arranging to store our luggage before and after checkout, which we really appreciated.
The hotel was consistently spotless, the rooms were quiet, and the overall service was outstanding. We had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again.
Everything about this hotel was beautiful, until I crawled into bed. The sheets were 100% polyester and very pilled (like over the top ratty with little balls and stitching ripping out of pillow cases). The plastic bedsheets makes this a hard pass for future stays. Other than that issue, the room was clean and the pool/gym was a highlight. If you don't mind polyester sheets, then this is a great option for you. I would have given this hotel 5 stars for it's location (close proximity to great museums, Pike Place Market, Space Needle, and so many other beautiful, easily walkable attractions. Please someone fix the bedsheets and go back to cotton or linen for the price. We paid just under $1k to stay here for one night and the sheets ruined it for me.
Even though the hotel was none smoking the whole floor and specially one of my rooms smells very bad . They tried to solve the problem but unfortunately it didn’t went away and my daughter got a headache the day after.
Bar was good
Room was simple for the price i gotten better rooms fot that price
One of the worst Fairmonts Iv ever stayed in. Exceptionally rude lady on the reception staff.
Will be cancelling my upcoming reservation with them.
Property is very nice.
Lieu and his team made us feel welcome and cared for! So glad we stayed here!
We stayed here one night as a birthday treat and enjoyed the stay.
The valet was friendly and convenient. Check-in was great. I had received an email offering a discounted upgrade to a suite at check-in and they confirmed that upon arrival. It was a great deal and the extra space was well worth the $45. We arrived several hours before check-in and they gladly took our luggage while we spent some time downtown. The staff were all polished and very welcoming.
When we went back to get our luggage they had it delivered to our rooms. The ice maker on our floor was not working so we called down to the front desk but couldn’t reach a real person. We were able to get the AI concierge to understand we needed ice for our room and it arrived about 15-minutes later. I will say that for a hotel at this price point, there should be a person picking up when you call. AI is a poor substation for the level of service you receive at check-in and it was frustrating to try to explain what we needed.
The room was spacious and very clean with nice towels and a very comfortable king bed. The couch was definitely in need of replacement as it was worn and sagged a lot on the right side. We did request an in room refrigerator later that evening as we had dinner leftovers. It took over 30 minutes to arrive and was quite large and very beat up which didn’t align with the quality of the hotel but we appreciated it being available. We also appreciated the robes and in room coffee.
We had an appetizer and cocktail at the Founders Club (highly recommended) but did not have any other food or drinks here.
Overall the room was quiet and clean but not something that wowed you. The location is great and within walking distance to all the local sites. The staff were all great and we enjoyed our stay.

Nettes Personal.
Das Frühstück war überteuert. Etwas Toast, Butter, Marmelade, zwei Rührei, wenig Speckscheiben und
kostenpflichtiger Kaffee insgesamt für 2 Personen = 106, - U.S.- DOLLAR.
Delighted to be able to stay at a beautiful historic hotel in the heart of Seattle. Everything about our stay was first class, including the staff and one bedroom suite. Location was perfect, with all we wanted to see and do nearby. Highly recommended.
