Great location on Bourbon Street. Staff in LeBooze was great as was front desk staff.
Bathroom is extremely small with very little counter space to place your items. Understand it's an older hotel and beautiful, but the online description is somewhat deceptive in the size of rooms. Unfortunately the kids beating on buckets on Bourbon made it impossible to enjoy the balcony for long. They are there day and night and it isn't a pleasant music experience, it's just noise. The staff agreed and found it disruptive as well.
Location was convenient for what we were planning to do in town.
The hotel lobby bathroom were very poorly kept. We had mold in the shower, and the sink was cracked and leaking.
Staff were great especially the garage staff all very accommodating.
Did not know there was no microwave available other than for cost of $40.00
Clean ,felt safe , nice staff , very informative staff
I love everything
Hotel is right where the action is.
Lacked a plan for fun
Classy great location

After reading all the reviews and staying at The Royal Sonesta, I wanted to add some information that I could not find. The top floor has 3 corner rooms with private balconies. Our room, 7002, is the only room that has a big jacuzzi tub in addition to the shower and a tub in the bathroom. Our balcony faced toward the Mississippi River with the view of the Crescent City Connection Bridge. Being an early riser, on clear mornings, we witnessed stunning sunrises. The room could use some maintenance, but overall, it was clean and comfortable. Another feature is the heated pool, and it was nice to be able to go swimming in the winter. Apparently, it is opened all year except for bad weather or issues. The bar at the pool was closed. The gym was under construction, so no comment. There is no room service, but a café, two restaurants, and a jazz bar on premises. Casual dining at Desire Oyster Bar serves food all day, has fabulous breakfast and happy hour menu includes oysters. For more upscale dining, there is Restaurant R’evolution with an exquisite menu, unbelievable service, and an elegant atmosphere. Reservation is recommended. The Jazz Playhouse with live entertainment and very talented musicians. I do want to acknowledge some people for their hospitality: Kimberly Johnston during our check-in, Derek Chivers with resolving an issue, and a very special thank you to Kourtney Rowel. Not only did Kourtney from the start make everything satisfying, but she also made sure that my husband and I celebrated our special occasion more memorably. Also, the lobby was so festive with all winter decorations. In conclusion, I highly recommend staying at Royal Sonesta; it is not a high-luxury resort, but the location and the hospitality cannot be beaten.
Omg it’s amazing. And a Birds Eye view over Bourbon st. 5 star
First time in New Orleans for Mardi Gras. The hotel is in the perfect location to walk to everything. Looking forward to the next week.

llegue el 1ero y no tenia habitacion, segun dicen mi tarjeta declino y eso era imposible
OUTSTANDING LOCATION!!! You cannot get a better spot in the French Quarter. Additionally, we were treated like royalty while on property. Especially by Joe in valet. He welcomed us to the hotel and the city. He gave great suggestions and made us feel like family. We will surely stay here again!!!
This has been my favorite home away from home spot since 911 happened. Meet Malcom as a young knowledgeable doorman. The only place that I stay when visiting NOLA. Caleb, and Emika are customer service driven. Location, ambiance, cleanliness, and quality of service from this staff is phenomenal!
