Wonderful time! My favorite was waking out to the most amazing doorman - Caleb!! He really has a great attitude- super polite and just kind person that makes you happy to be in NOLA

Let the good times roll at full volume—bring earplugs if you face Bourbon street the nightlife in New Orleans is LOUD.
Pros:

Staff was friendly and exceptional! Location is amazing, and the exterior balcony on Bourbon street is an experience!

Cons:

The daily charge for incidentals can’t be used the day of checkout, so this is sort of a bummer if you check in late (after the incidental places have closed). Late arrivals are hard—Bourbon street closes to cars. Be ready to tip your driver if he helps you to the front desk with your luggage!!

THE Place To Stay in The French Quarter!!
Pros:

I just returned from another memorable week long stay in New Orleans at The Royal Sonesta Hotel. I’ve stayed at the property many times over the years. Once again I found the hotel staff to be the element that makes this establishment special!! Thanks to: Malcolm, Wayne, Wilbert, Emilie, Miss Shirley, Acacia and Patrick.

Promised a covered balcony room and did not provide one. When questioned they said none were available even though I reserved months ago. I believe they did not give me the better room because I booked thru third party instead of directly with hotel. Throughout my stay there were covered balcony rooms empty.
