On the bed there was a waffle style blanket on top of the sheet - which was not smooth or comfortable
From the minute I walked in I was warmly welcomed by the entire team, with a very special welcome from the front desk manager who proceeded to give me 2 free drink coupons which I used!
Having one of the elevators out was a bit challenging, however, the signage was helpful in knowing about it ahead of time.

Larger than it looks the old part of the hotel is quite nice with easy access to las olas shops and restaurants and also the river front. Also even though we had a low floor room we didn't get bothered by the noise from last olas. You can see the age in some parts, but it was clean and had a comfortable bed so not really too much to complain about.
Couldn't really get the AC adjusted to our liking. Too cold (indicated 68) when we arrived, it was like an ice box. Over a period of a day or so we turned up the temperature but despite saying 80 on the remote it still felt cold. In the end we had to turn it off

Night staff at reception. Abrasive and gave wrong information. Room small and bathroom small. Room redone at minimal expense.

Room was so “high tech.” I couldn’t figure out how to turn down the air conditioner or find the switch to turn off the lights. TV was also bad…terrible reception; couldn’t see the screen.
We had a great stay at the Riverside Hotel. The location was one of the best parts since it’s right on Las Olas and made everything very convenient to walk to. Parking was easy, which made arriving and leaving stress free. The room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet, which made it easy to relax after being out during the day. Alan at the front desk was also very helpful and assisted us with anything we needed throughout our stay. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience and we will definitely come back.
