The Hotel Monteleone was wonderful. The location was perfect - everything in the French Quarter is easily walkable from here. I found my guest room to be comfortable, quiet, and attractive. The decor is traditional, appropriate for the hotel's historic ambiance. Everyone on staff was helpful, courteous, and friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others visiting New Orleans.
Hotel Monteleone is our favorite hotel in the FQ. It exudes Southern hospitality and charm. It is lively, while being relaxing. The restaurant and bar are top notch. Iberville Tower rooms are our favorite. They are newly renovated, gorgeous, almost spa-like. Beds are incredibly comfortable. The staff is warm and welcoming. Highly, highly recommended!
Nice, friendly and clean. Remodeled rooms in the Iberville tower were nice. Haven't stayed there since the remodeling and they are definitely an improvement.
Elevators were terrible. Wasted lots of time waiting on elevators. 2 elevators cannot handle the weekend volume. By the time they would get to our floor, they were already full. We and many others began walking down stairs 6 floors after trying to get an elevator for over 15 minutes.
Thank to Earl Perkins in the garage for your care and attention to us while we stayed.
Absolutely fantastic experience again. It is always comfortable, always quiet, and always a great time at the carousel bar. Will only stay here when visiting New Orleans
A great hotel in a great location. Well worth the visit! Beautiful room and service. Will absolutely come back again on our next visit to New Orleans!
Everyone we met was extremely nice and accommodating. Noah kept our bags safe and sound while we waited for our room to get ready at the Carousel Bar. On our departure we were lucky enough to meet Earl Perkins as he brought us our keys. He said he had worked at Hotel Monteleone for 59 years, that’s correct 59 years. Wow. He said being a family run hotel made a difference. We will be back.
Perfect all around. We booked at room in the Iberville tower and it was just what we expected. Although the room is small, every detail was thought of. We visited the spa aria during our trip and would go back again and again. The Carousel bar was closed 1 day due to mechanical issues but we were able to grab a seat about mid day, after the 11am rush. The hotel has a great location and a Walgreens right on the corner where you can get waters or snacks. Over all one of the best places we have stayed and we would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Great hotel - room was very clean and bright. Asked for a high floor - room 1247 was nice and quiet. Turn down service was a nice surprise!
The Hotel Monteleone is an excellent historic hotel with consistent pleasant and attentive staff. This continuity in providing exceptional accommodations and service make the experience one that keeps us returning to Hotel Monteleone while visiting New Orleans. Mr. Carlos in the valet garage adds to the hotel’s Southern charm with his warm kind nature.
A lovely, old-world hotel with gracious service, in a nearly perfect location in the French quarter. A truly wonderful experience.
The hotel is always fabulous, but this time around there was a standout experience with the doorman, Mr. Trevante. He was so pleasant and helpful. He made our day!
Exceptional service - friendly and polite. Perfect location. Great dining and drinking options. Lovely room with comfy pillows and beds. Even though I was right by the elevator it was very quiet (could hear some street noise, but only very muted). Nice bathroom products. Free water available in cartons not bottles (Love that). The best parts of a historic hotel and modern amenities.
The hotel was wonderful! So much history and character. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Shoutout to Earl Perkins in the garage he is so friendly and goes above and beyond!
One of my new favorite luxury hotels - loved our stay. Loved the clean, well-appointed rooms in the new tower. Hotel gym was awesome and loved the ammentities.
The best hotel and location in New Orleans. Purchased the Carousel Bar experience and enjoyed it. The trout ant lunch was incredible. The $1 martini at lunch was awesome. Thoroughly enjoy staying here.
My friends, my mom, and I had a day pass to use there pool. We had the most amazing server named Khiya! She was so kind, funny, and helpful! We enjoyed every minute of our time! If you go, make sure to find her!
Very Cozy, French Feel, Good Staff, Nice stock of drinks and food options, centrally located in the heart of happening New Orleans District. Overall very nice experience with everything.
The Hotel Monteleone is like a home away from home! Our recent visit to this beautiful, clean hotel was wonderful. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The food is delicious at the Criollo Restaurant. The beignets with praline sauce is a must have. The location is perfect to explore New Orleans. We are already looking forward to our next visit to the Hotel Monteleone!
The Carousel Bar is a must see while in NOLA! Don't hesitate just do it! You won't be sorry! Didnt stay at the hotel..but it looks very nice! Probably will stay there next time..
