Pros:

Very good hotel, not in the city center but good location for meetings at Kasetsart university, and near the BTS. Very nice swimming pool

Good basic hotel but showing its age. Close to the skytrain but long commute to the ‘tourist’ area, more than an hour.

Drain was clogged next day they came and asked how many people in room
Then asked about the drain problem and broken soap holder missing rusted holes
Left and hot water was brown and wasn’t steady hot it was a nice hotel

Maruay, old and charming hotel
Pros:

I did enjoy my stay at Maruay. Being at the outskirts of the city means that the street vendors and restaurants in the area are cheaper. And the area is less noisy. The room is clean except under the night stand was very dusty, and the glass shelves in the bathroom were dusty. The staff is friendly and helpful. You need to be at the breakfast early or there will be little left, but i am an early bird so i enjoyed my breakfast.

I like the pool and the gym. Food and room ficilities are below average. 5 mins walk to BTS Kasetasr University Station but 12 stops to Siam, quite far from city.
