breakfast, bed comfort, quiet
Lounger area was nice and quirky and oldie worldie. Was nice to have clean towels every day. Nice having tea / coffee in the lounge all day.
No Bottled water in room and improvement of maintenance. Faucet was loose and a lightbulb in bathroom was out.
You have a problem with snail / slugs ,we noticed slug trails on the carpet around where you deposit the dirty plates by double doors in the breakfast area.was
All of the staff were very nice and accommodating. The hotel is straight from a Victorian dream and our room was perfect for my wife and me. It is centrally located and most attractions in SF were walkable or had easy access to public transit.

Great location and really great decor. The breakfast was decent and the front desk person was nice.
I was disappointed at the bed situation. I ordered a suite because I was traveling with a teenager and another adult.
I was expecting 2 places to sleep, but the sofabed was not nearly big enough for a 6 foot teenager. Also, when I asked for bedding, there was one thin blanket. I expected for the amount I paid that we would all sleep comfortably. That's it, otherwise a nice place to stay.
Quirky atmosphere with sherry and cookies in the afternoon and a decent breakfast offering in the morning. Our room had a working fireplace that we got a duraflame log per night to use and it made it so very cozy. Staff was kind and courteous. We had an excellent time. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place in SF
This property was super cute and Victorian.
Room
Classic old building, big room and cozy bed. Breakfast was decent, free tea and coffee and cookies during the day! Walking distance to a lot of stuff in the neighborhood. Guys at the front desk were super nice :)
The Queen Anne is a lovely place to go for the holidays. They have an amazing Christmas display. Staff are helpful and friendly, and the location near Japan town is excellent. We go every year at Christmas and try to catch the symphony (or orchestra with a holiday film). It's a really nice tradition.
The decoration was gorgeous, and the fireplace living room was something else.
Breakfast is underwhelming. Aside from the low rotation (same everyday), it doesn’t feel or look very clean. And to eat at the sound of the electric buzz of the bug zapper wasn’t pleasing either.
Loved the old building and the fact its history was easily accessible.
Though I appreciated the desire to keep with traditional Victorian era styles, I felt the decor was overdone, cluttered and took attention away from the building and its beautiful woodwork.
We loved the old fashioned Victorian feel. Drinks were available all day coffee and tea .Good parking.
Near to our family and Japan town.
The reception staff was very welcoming and informative. The parking lot is across the street and we were told to not leave anything visible in the car....nothing unusual for San Francisco. The beds were very comfortable. I chose the hotel because of it's proximity to Mt. Zion Medical Center as I had an early morning procedure the next day. My sister stayed both nights and raved about the Sherry and cookies!
Because it's mid December the hotel was charmingly decorated for the holidays. I loved reading about the history of the 130 year old building and loved that we were in one of the rooms with a wood burning working fireplace.
The bathroom, because of the age of the building, slanted and everything I placed in the tub slid down to the faucet end. It was more enrertaining than inconvenient.
The staff was gray and very helpful.
