A rejuvenating stay, complete with a relaxing spa inspired room with full sized bath tub, ample space for me to do my yoga any time of the day. Most importantly the rooms are quiet, well built. The Peranakan Club Room is worth the extra few dollars as it includes two pieces of laundry per day, making my stay extremely convenient.
Gym facilities were suitable for me and location is close to the beach. Breakfast buffet was gourmet and full of variety, they had Japanese, Chinese, Indian, western, and of course Nonya cuisine!
Excellent service from front desk, cleaning staff, and lounge service. Special shout out to Kummar for always remembering my favourite snacks and drinks!
I definitely want to come back again!

Good atmosphere
Decent room but size mentioned is misleading because they have huge balconies that you generally don't use, and they mention 29 sq mtr (for superior room which includes almost 10 sq mtr of balcony on all travel sites
Location and cleanliness
Great hotel rooms with highly trained staff ready to help with a big smile on their faces. The best hospitality you can imagine. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms maintained with highest standards. Close to shopping malls easy for travellers. Main restaurants just a walk away. Metro station outside hotel. Erica was responsible to maintain my room for entire stay and I really admire her highest standards of professionalism, dedication and hard work. I would recommend Village hotel Katong to travelers visiting Singapore for business or holidays with family .

Hotel was storing few times our lugguages (as we went to Malaysia and Bintan) without any issue.
Hotel is 3mn from metro. This is very convenient for visiting the different parts of the city.
