It’s crowded on the ground floor with lots of extra activities ie stalls, exhibition, so it very inconvenient for hotel guests . Everything else is good

Angenehmer Kurzaufenthalt in gut gelegenem Hotel mit hervorragendem Service
Pros:

Wir haben das Cinnamon Grand Colombo für eine Nacht gewählt, um Colombo ein klein wenig zu erkunden und aufgrund der guten Lage in Richtung Flughafen. Der Check-in verlief schnell und völlig problemlos, das Personal war durchgehend sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Das Zimmer war großzügig geschnitten und sehr sauber, ebenso das Badezimmer – hier gibt es nichts zu beanstanden. Besonders gefallen hat uns der große Außenpool mit kleinem Gartenbereich, der sich sehr gut zum Entspannen und Schwimmen eignet.

Ein Highlight war das Abendessen im Hotelrestaurant „Lagoon“: ausgezeichnete Qualität, sehr frischer Fisch und Seafood sowie eine schöne Präsentation. Auch das Frühstück am nächsten Morgen war äußerst umfangreich und geschmacklich hervorragend.

Die Lage ist ebenfalls praktisch: Direkt neben dem Hotel befindet sich eine Einkaufsmall mit direktem Zugang, eine weitere, modernere Mall ist in etwa 15 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Abends sind wir noch in der Umgebung spazieren gegangen und haben uns jederzeit sicher gefühlt.

Der Check-out war ebenso schnell und unkompliziert wie der Check-in.

Cons:

Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die temporär errichtete Halle für die TV-Show „MasterChef Sri Lanka“ im Poolbereich. Diese beeinträchtigt die Atmosphäre deutlich und sorgt gelegentlich durch Lüftungs- und Klimaanlagen für störende Geräusche.

Excellent Location and facilities - the BEST breakfast
Pros:

This hotel has everything you want in a hotel .. our go to in Colombo every time we visit.

Cons:

We enjoyed the pool but our peace was disturbed on this visit by the Masterchef Marquee located in the grounds. The noise of the AC & generator was loud and disrupted our relaxation

Luxury in Colombo
Pros:

The staff are all so welcoming and friendly, full of smiles they i felt they all went above and beyond for guest services. Rooms were very clean, even had a supervisor spot check on housekeeping services! My friend also had her birthday during our stay and the team organised a surprise on her bed and a chocolate cake from the Coffee Stop Cafe which was delicious!

Cons:

I didnt have set expectations so nothing bad to write!
