Quick, clean and filled with speed bumps.

Cons:

Our Aunt stayed in the other room. We had to have the keycard re-keyed multiple time. Our room had many issues. From water leaking in the bathroom to the toilet not flushing (we fixed it) to the desk chair leaning to one side. We reported all of these problems to either management or workers there. The breakfast was sparse at best with a very limited selection of options.

It’s a fair, economy stay hotel. I didn’t see any bugs. Probably would not stay there again.
Pros:

Location was good for being by Lake Springfield.

Cons:

The hotel and room smelled like carpets that were wet and didn’t dry. Rooms need some TLC. But I did not see any bugs.

Location was easy to find. Room was fairly clean. For the nightly rate, it was ok.

Cons:

They really need to hire a different maintenance person. Full length mirror fell off the wall 5 minutes after we entered. The bathroom exhaust fan was loose causing it to make a racket when the light was turned on waking everyone up. The coat rack was installed at a 20° angle, not straight. Refrigerator was barely cold. They had to bring us new light bulbs to replace the burned out bulbs. Our room keys were constantly malfunctioning. We will stay elsewhere when we visit Springfield, Illinois again.

Cons:

They switched the room from what I originally ordered without notice until I got to the hotel. I went from a King size room to two a two queen size room. Housekeeping did not do a good job of cleaning my room. The door was very unsecure.

Economy stay with comfortable rooms.
Pros:

The hotel is off the interstate and easily accessible. The room was clean and the pillows were outstanding.
the pool was large, but I did not use it.

Cons:

the breakfast was skimpy and the apples provided had spoiled spots on them. Housekeeping is not available until 9 a.m. and due to limited staff no delivery of towels or missing toiletry items was not available.
