Great check-in, convenient location
Floor was dirty a little, noise coming from the side whole night.
Maravillosa ubicación y la habitación cómoda
Inside rooms were quiet, for the city. Close to good restaurants and the Palace of Fine Arts. Parking very secure.
The shower was hot and the bed was comfortable. It was in the Marina district. The room was clean. We luckily did get the as advertised free parking but this is on a first come first serve basis and not guaranteed which we didn’t realise at the time of booking.
Fairly basic accomodation. It felt a bit unsecured. The included breakfast was okay but a very basic continental.
I’ve stayed here 2 other times.
It was with in walking distance for the conference.
La ubicación
Había mucho olor a marihuana
It’s was clean and location was good
Fixtures in room need some attention a up grade would do wonders
Breakfast was averagea and the the hot dish is selfmade muffins.
The location is slightly suburban, but is quiet. There are several available bus routes and may be convinent. There aren't many small restaurants nearby, so I suggest eating a proper meal before taking public transport back.
The top floor is the second floor. Although there's no elevator, my luggage wasn't heavy, so I could still carry it up. Some hotels in Japan don't provide elevators for passengers, but they do provide elevators for luggage. I'm not sure if this hotel has that facility.
Very clean, perfect for the price
It was close to main attractions, house keepers were super nice and always asking if we need it anything.
Front staff was rude most of the time. had requested adjacent rooms and they told me I had to check in early for that, parking was an issue most of the stay, they do parking reservations but they say they don’t over the phone, bathrooms needs to be updated.
SureStay is a good hotel: clean, well located, and with very friendly staff. The check-in process was easy, and the manager kindly allowed us to check in early, which we really appreciated.
Parking is limited, so make sure to arrive early or ask the front desk for assistance. Breakfast is simple, but it includes fruit, coffee, yogurt, oatmeal, and pancakes — enough to have a good start to the day.
Overall, it offers great value for money. It’s close to major attractions and surrounded by many restaurants and bars. I would stay here again
We did have one inconvenient night because of a couple arguing loudly. However, this was an isolated incident caused by rude guests and was beyond the hotel’s control.
Bed was comfortable and location was good
Best Western has always been an incredible option for me. On this trip, I chose to stay twice at two different Best Western properties because I trust the brand.
In Yosemite, I stayed at Best Western Yosemite Gateway Inn, and it exceeded all my expectations. It was very clean, the staff was excellent, the property was wonderful, and I felt comfortable and safe at all times.
However, I am currently staying at Best Western SureStay in San Francisco, and the experience has been a nightmare.
When we arrived, we were informed that parking might not be available. While I understand limited parking can happen, the staff was not helpful at all and did nothing to assist us in finding a solution.
The room itself is not clean. When walking barefoot, you can clearly feel and see that the floor is dirty.
But the most frightening part happened last night. While I was trying to sleep, two people right outside my room got into a physical fight. They were screaming at each other, shouting slurs, and hitting each other. The fight went on for what felt like 30 minutes to an hour. I was shaking in fear in my bed the entire time. I could hear the blows and the yelling, and no one intervened. No one stopped it. I felt completely unsafe.
It was a terrible experience. I barely slept. I woke up exhausted, and next day plans in San Francisco were affected because I was so tired and shaken. This strongly compromised my overall trip experience.
I am deeply disappointed because Best Western had always been a reliable and safe option for me. I don’t know what can be done at this point whether a refund, compensation, or at the very least a warning on the listing that this property may not be safe but I felt it was important to formally report this situation.
