Fabulous - it is our go to place to stay when in Hobart.
Pros:

We liked the location and parking availability. The venue is very popular so caters extremely well for people's needs.

Great location and friendly staff.
Pros:

I always enjoy staying at Wrest Point. Super location and everything you need under the one roof. Staff are great - in all the time I’ve booked Wrest Point, have yet to come across anyone less than friendly and courteous.

Cons:

It can be very expensive at times - even the standard ‘no frills’ rooms. I understand that peak times such as Christmas and Sydney-Hobart Yacht Race will attract a premium but it is a pity that even just a few reasonably priced rooms are not set aside to cater to the not-so-rich.
Wrest Point is ungenerous with media. Even Airbnb has free Netflix (or equivalent). It would be nice if this was incorporated into all rooms.

Cons:

It was explained at Check-In that the room was not going to be cleaned unless requested and that we could ask for a "tidy up" by putting a sign on our door before 12.30pm which we did and left it there for over 4 hours but still no one came in to empty bins etc. 4 days is a long time without rubbish emptied and bathroom cleaned.

Highly recommend staying here! Well appointed comfortable clean rooms with views. parking.

Haven’t stayed here for a long time and was pleasantly surprised how up to date, clean, modern and well the rooms were appointed. Staff were wonderful. Parking easy and convenient. View from tower room fantastic!!!
