DO NOT STAY HERE THE TVS DO NOT WORK !! YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR WORKING WIFI
Pros:

SAVE YOUR MONEY FROM THIS LOCATION my stay at La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Houston West Park 10 on April 10.

I arrived at approximately 1:00 PM and waited in the lobby until I was informed I could check in around 2:30 PM. I was then given a key to Room 424. While the room initially appeared clean, I immediately encountered issues with the television.

The TV was not working, the remote was broken, and the cable box appeared non-functional. When I reported this to the front desk associate, who identified herself as Samantha, she provided batteries. After replacing them, the TV still did not work and displayed a “select language/settings” screen, indicating it had not been properly set up.

I returned to the front desk, and Samantha then provided a different remote (AT&T brand), which was not compatible with the Hisense TV in the room. The remote itself was also damaged and could not properly hold the batteries. After multiple attempts and trips back and forth, the issue remained unresolved.

I then requested to be moved to another room. At that point, Samantha informed me that none of the TVs in the hotel were working, which was extremely concerning. However, I observed a working TV in the lobby. When I questioned this inconsistency, I was told that it was “the only one working.”

Additionally, while I was communicating with Booking.com to resolve the issue, the front desk associate provided the name “Ashley” instead of Samantha. I am unsure whether this was a misrepresentation or if another employee was involved, but it raises concerns regarding transparency and professionalism.

Beyond these service issues, I also experienced a serious safety concern. While exiting through the back of the property (as only one elevator in the hotel was functioning and located at the end of the hallway), I witnessed a man climbing out of a window near an RV parked on the left side of the building. The individual appeared distressed and sweaty. This incident made me feel unsafe during my stay.

Between:

Non-functioning TV and equipment

Inability to provide a working room or alternative accommodation

Only one working elevator

Conflicting staff information

Safety concerns on the property

I did not feel that the hotel met basic standards for a safe and functional stay.

For these reasons, I am formally requesting a full refund of my stay, including my deposit. Booking.com is currently awaiting your confirmation in order to process this refund. Their reply : Hello Ochoa Laura,

Pros:

Hotel staff was awesome, there is little to no lighting in the parking lot, neither of the outside doors open from the outside, one elevator is broken and the other makes a horrible banging noise when you are going up

Pros:

My stay at this hotel was a nightmare. It is not actually a La Quinta hotel. It’s been bought by a third-party and they still have the name of La Quinta. I checked into the room I changed room because the room smelled like mold and mildew so they gave me another room And the air wasn’t on in the room when I checked in so I dropped off my bags and I came back that evening turned on the air the room smell like mold and mildew. Neither one one of my TVs worked in the living room nor the bedroom. I had actually two rooms and the same situation. The second room looked like someone had vomited outside the door I requested for my money back into be you know I’ll be able to move to somewhere else the manager, the owner stated that they cannot give me my money back and I was told at first it was a manager discretion so I had to spend a night in that hotel Without TV with mow and mildew both me and my son have asthma and bronchitis and my daughter so that morning they finally said do you want to move to a Sister facility? They didn’t try to compensate me for the uncomfortableness and inconvenience of my time being there or anything, but they did allow us to move to the other hotel that’s Sonesta and it was mediocre. OK I was very different disappointed in this whole weekend trip that I spent in their property. And the pictures online lies. It does not look like that and even the breakfast at the La Quinta was old oatmeal. The oatmeal was stuck to the inside of the package.

Pros:

The hotel is located on Katy Freeway by Highway 6. It is a nice hotel, with beautiful rooms, and it is very clean. The front desk lady was very nice. The bathroom and bed drawer light bulbs were out of order.

Nothing “deluxe” about these rooms
Pros:

Incredibly dirty room, appeared to be a dead worm on one of the beds, old food on the back of the pillows- which appeared to be couch cushions stuffed into a pillowcase, stains on the floor. After a 15+ hour drive, we just wanted to climb into a clean and comfortable bed, but we couldn’t. Overall was terrible.

Worse hotel stay ever!
Pros:

Worse hotel stay ever. If you absolutely need working elevators don't stay there. The one in the front is broken. The treadmill in the fitness center is broken. Our spout in the shower steady ran after we turn it off and messed with my sleep. I suffer insomnia. The bathroom knobs are missing and the hair dryer is missing as well. We tried canceling our second night and requested our Wyndham points returned. The lady upfront happily gave us the property owners number and it went straight to voicemail. We are very disappointed and want our 15000 points back. It's sad to return home from a 3 day weekend irritated and exhausted.

Pros:

Worst experience ever staying at a hotel. It’s a very rundown facility. The curtains in the room had huge holes in them, a/c vents in the bathroom ceiling had dust accumulated. The bath tub had old stains. The water was luke warm. The bathroom sink water pressure was very low. Would never stay at this hotel again.
