Cons:

This is not a family motel. It's located in a dirty and sketchy area of downtown North Bay and seemed to be used as a seedy party location by locals. We were awoken at 5 AM by drunken yelling, saw a shirtless man get into a shouting match with people from another room. Eventually we had to call the police to sort it out, as the phone to the front desk either didn't work or was being ignored. Checking out, we spoke to the front desk in person to compalin; they were dismissive of our concerns ("We can't control what people do") and refused to refund us. I wrote the motel directly about this incident and received no reply. Do not stay here, especially if you are travelling with children.

A clean bed, and a place to hang my hat for the night.
Pros:

The room was clean enough. I appreciated the coffee machine in the room. I was a little nervous with parking since I was unfamilar with the area but I mean hey, my car wasn't broken into so it's all good. There wasn't too much noise from nearby rooms, I heard a tiny bit of music and people sounds but whatever.

Cons:

It's too bad there was no breakfast. This isn't the fault of the motel but I had a headache and was pretty tired when I was checking in. The desk clerk mentioned something about there being a fridge in my room and I'm welcome to a complementary drink and he motions to some water and pops behind him on a shelf. I said ok thanks and went to my room. He seemed kind of confused too, I didn't realize he was offering me a drink from a stock in the office to put in my room's fridge. Seemed kind of elaborate and I didn't really process it until the next money when I was pretty thirsty and wish I knew to say yes to that water lol.

But yeah, I needed a quick cheap room while driving through and feeling too tired to keep driving. This place was good enough. The guy at the desk was very nice, I don't remember his name.

the room in general was good and clean. Staff was friendly.

The hair dryer didn't work. One light beside the bed kept flickering on and off and finally just stayed off. Some outlets were missing plate covers.

People doing drugs right outside their rooms, walking up to us taking pictures of our vehicle and ourselves, very unsettling situation.
Would NOT recommend.
