A great base for a few days in Singapore. Clean, good breakfast, nice pool and room larger than others at a similar price. Near to MRT Tanglin Pagar too. We would be happy to stay here again.
Fabulous location on the edge of chinatown, great for exploring on foot. The staff were very polite and helpful. The beds are very comfortable.
The pool and surrounding area is in need of an upgrade. It is the only part of the hotel that is not up to the standard of the rest of the property.
Beautiful hotel with fantastic amenities. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They are ready to help whenever you need it. The hotel is very central so nothing is too far. Grabs anywhere are very affordable making trips extremely easy to navigate and MRT stations are close too. Breakfast had lots of variety and the staff are lovely. The pool was my favourite. So beautiful and clean. Not congested and well managed. We loved our stay at Amara and were sad when it came to an end. My favourite part was the 100am mall that is attached to the hotel. Everything is at your fingertips with delicious food, bakeries, coffees snd supermarkets!

Unser Zimmer war groß. Funktionell alles tipp-topp. Modern.
Die Begrüßung war ruppig. Der Herr am Empfang hat uns erstmal „bei Seite gestellt“, als eine chinesische AirCrew ankam. Die Körpersprache und sein „gehen-Sie-da erstmal weg“-Gewinke war blamabel fuers Hotel. unfriendly. Der Stau bei Fruehstueck….“we are fully booked“ war 15 min….in der Nebenzeit. Wie es dann wohl zur „SuperPeak“-Zeit ist?!…Auf dem Schild beim Fruehstueck sind „alles“ Peak-Zeiten…Das Problem ist also bekannt und regelmäßig.

Club lounge was a great perk to have, both for work and relaxation, breakfast, happy hour, laundry item setc. The room is very nice, bath & shower are great. The pillows are not comfortable at all, luckily they are aware of it and you can just ask for thinner pillows. In a quiet location but easily reacheable.
One day we returned to the room close to 10pm to find out housekeeping just started the daily cleaning... Sink in the room itself is an odd choice, but not the first time I've seen this.
Breakfast room can get crowded at certain hours and with tables so close to one another it can get uncomfortable, luckily we had the option of having breakfast at the club lounge.
