Nice place. Great restaurant and bar. Weird location but totally fine.
I attended a small meeting at this hotel and had a wonderful experience.
My guest room was quiet, clean and spacious with a charmingly updated bathroom.
The meeting space was well appointed with a large screen and excellent connectivity.
The food was outstanding!
This was the nicest place I’ve ever stayed it’s beautiful
Great staff, great location, great place to entertain guests too!
The Stanford Park Hotel, Menlo Park, was the third of our luxury stays as part of our week's "Back to the Bay Area Crawl."
Menlo Park brought a different kind of pleasure: quieter, greener, more grounded in the Peninsula’s polished residential calm. Stanford Park Hotel fits that setting perfectly. It has the kind of well-maintained, understated luxury I tend to appreciate most—nothing flashy, nothing forced, just gracious surroundings, strong service, and an atmosphere that makes it easy to settle in. (Avi, the general manager, was exceedingly welcoming.)
Across from Stanford Shopping Center and near the university - all walkable - the hotel sits in one of those parts of the Bay Area where everything feels tidy, mature, and well considered. The property emphasizes thoughtful personalized service, recent renovations, and Menlo Tavern as its in-house dining anchor.
What I liked here was the sense of ease. Menlo Park is not trying to perform itself for visitors; it simply is what it is—affluent, leafy, highly livable, and quietly beautiful. After a day of seeing people and revisiting old corridors of memory, Stanford Park felt like the kind of hotel where one could genuinely exhale. (We loved our suite with a separate sitting area.) I fondly picture us returning in the evening and choosing something relaxed but polished at Menlo Tavern, starting with cocktails and then going for seafood nearby (e.g., Macarena Restaurant, near downtown Palo Alto) in a way that matched the California mood rather than forcing it. Menlo Tavern’s menus and outside listings show dishes such as a smoked salmon bagel at breakfast, alongside its broader “elevated American classics” approach with seasonal California flavors.
Menlo Tavern struck me as exactly right for this leg of the trip: warm, attractive, and unfussy in a very Peninsula way. The menu leans into California ingredients and refined comfort. The charm here is not in culinary showmanship; it is in how naturally the restaurant fits the hotel and its setting. The whole experience feels composed and easy, which in Menlo Park is very much part of the appeal.
I hosted a corporate event at the Stanford Park Hotel and the event went off without a hitch. We rented the Stanford Room, which is an inside/outside space that's perfect for about 40 people. It's slightly separated from the rest of the hotel, about 40 feet from the main entrance. If you're looking to hold a private event, the space is great.
Also worth mentioning was the staff and the appetizers. Both were excellent! We served the potato puffs, waygu meatball, tuna tartare, and mushroom puff pastry. I was told all were the best options (they are).
The catering manager Erika was great. Very transparent and responsive to my requests. I'd definitely use the space again.
Great hotel, always a pleasure to visit. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and the outdoor patio is a gem. I’ll be coming back!
Our favorite place to stay. The hotel and the wonderful staff are wonderfully warm and welcoming. Everyone is anxious to make your stay perfect. The rooms are amazing, large, and we love the separate sinks in the bath and makeup areas. The Tavern is fantastic dining all day. I personally love the easy large parking right past the beautiful fountain and palm at the entrance. The outdoor courtyard fireplaces are relaxing and the best place to just relax. The entire place , elegant and beautiful. Feels like a private club. Don’t miss this gem.
Our stay at Stanford Park Hotel was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. The team runs a remarkably efficient, clean, and well-organized operation. The property itself is charming and warm, with an inviting atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home.
What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the staff. Every single person we interacted with went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality did not go unnoticed.
The restaurant was absolutely top-notch. If this hadn’t been a business trip, I would have happily eaten every single meal there. The food, service, and overall experience were outstanding.
They were incredibly accommodating throughout our stay, and I genuinely cannot think of a single negative thing to say. I would highly recommend Stanford Park Hotel and look forward to returning.
The staff here were very welcoming. The hotel location was convenient and parking my rental car was easy. The Menlo Tavern restaurant in the lobby gives the place some buzz but the rooms felt private and peaceful. Room 262 was spacious and although the closet was small there was plenty of room for our luggage and a good desk. I liked that the bathroom had plenty of lighting especially the mirror. The hallway is quite long so if you don’t want to walk as much I suggest you request a room closer to the lift.
The hotel was amazingly nice, and the staff was top notch.
However paying 1800 for two nights only to be annoyed by the bartender train til after midnight right out my windows sucked.
Listen to me very carefully, if you are sick and tired of the quality of the hotels in the Bay Area like me, look no more, this is hands down THE BEST hotel in Silicon Valley, period! Take it from someone who tried them ALL, yes, in the past few years, I tried over 10 hotels in the 4-5 stars category, nothing comes even close to this hotel. The key differentiators: high-quality breakfast, attention to detail, staff who go above and beyond to keep you happy, and EXTREMELY clean, organized rooms. Words can't describe this hidden gem.
Overall, the Stanford Park is a great business hotel. It is conveniently located in Silicon Valley. The lobby, with a nice fireplace, makes one’s stay feel very inviting. The gym is pretty good. Plus, there are nice running paths nearby. University Ave is walking distance. I like the small touches such as the coffee in the morning and cookies at night. Previously, there was a minor glitch and the GM was very responsive. I’ll definitely continue to stay there.
I love this place. Everything is perfect.
Nothing to say
