dirty and old
Pros:

we were first brought into an old bungalow, very dirty and old. there was hair on the floor and humidity stains on the wall. unacceptable to rent this place out. we asked for another room and we were brought to a more modern building, which was already a bit cleaner but not worth the price. the breakfast was disappointing, the fruits were old and the service very slow.
i would not recommend this place
the only good thing about the hotel is the nature .

Good location, long fresh air area, warm staff, medium level services
Pros:

I went there on a professional trip.
It is very central. Since we had commitments around, it worked great.
There are old and new buildings.
We took rooms at a new building. Very comfortable and clean, no issues on that.
The staff is warm.
The swimming pool is undoubtedly one of the largest I saw in DRC. The trampoline is an attraction apart.
Considering the prices and the guest's profile, the services are to improving.
An excellent basketball court also appears on the hotel website, but when I asked for a ball, the staff answered: "There isn't one. If you would like to play, you must buy one...."
The wi-fi internet connection is also a little bit bad, asking for authentications and after service, my room card did not work anymore.

Beautiful Scenaries
Pros:

Elais Hotel in Kinshasa is a beautiful and quiet to stay while in Kinshasa. Beautiful nature for a walk in the evening. Staff teams are good and professional, can also communicate in English. Kinshasa - DRC

Pros:

"Old wing" rooms are barely acceptable... little or no warm water (as well as a pressure problem), mosquito net over the bed not adhering well to the wall, many plugs are out of order, the bed with heavy blankets prevents you from sleeping comfortably. Big swimming pool available for hotel guests, no time to try it.
Breakfast service rather slow.
All in all, questionable value for money.
