We had such a great experience at Four Points Juneau! The staff were warm and welcoming, the rooms were comfortable, and the view was absolutely beautiful. The location is perfect — right next to the water and close to everything downtown. Would definitely come back next time we’re in Juneau!
Great place to stay
Just in town one night for business. Four points is downtown - easy walk to all the cool shops and restaurants. The room was super clean , coffee bar in the am was on point, and staff were pleasant. Had a great stay.
Room ok, clean and basic, bed comfy, curtains do not pull all the way across window so if your in a front room road lights shine in all night!
Breakfast…. If you can call it that, awful!! Luke warm scrambled eggs, bacon so hard it bounced off the floor, greasy hash browns , tasteless sausage and that’s it, bit of old fruit and cakes, not worth the $19.95 plus taxes! Girls in reception at breakfast never smiled, too busy on their phones , no interaction whatsoever . I’m sure there are much better hotels than this in Juneau.
Construction projects, tv not working for several hours, breakfast buffet food was cold and I could have built a wall using the seriously hard hash brown cakes.
Four points Sheraton is awful. The rooms are old, tired, and dirty. Upon going to breakfast, the staff was more interested in their phones and the food was completely cold. The coffee maker in the room was dirty. On the bright side it was only one night, and that’s more than it deserved. Marriott should be ashamed of this property. I dare someone from Marriott to go there anonymously and say anything different about this property.
there is no ac in the rooms, just heat
This hotel was not anywhere near Marriott standards.
The room was ultra basic and pillows were either flat or hard rocks.
The door didn’t close all the way unless you pushed or pulled it closed, and we came back to the room one evening to find our door was left open by housekeeping (nothing was missing, thankfully).
“Breakfast” was the worst example of “food” I’ve ever seen in a hotel. All food was cold and clearly had been left out for hours. The only reason we had to eat there is because we were being picked up for a helicopter tour 30 minutes later. It was truly attrocious.
No bar, no dining options for dinner.
We asked to sit at a table in the empty restaurant one evening with our 10 year old so we could play dominoes, but were told no.
I complained to the front desk about the breakfast, and the receptionist was super snippy and said, “then don’t eat it”.
If I wasn’t a dedicated Marriott guest, I’d never stay at a Marriott again.
Great staff, friendly and helpful, held luggage safely as we arrived early. Room was clean, all expected amenities. Brilliant, walkable location, and easy acces to services (concierge desk on the premises).
This was a real disappointment. Definitely the lowest quality Marriott property I've stayed at, and I've stayed at a lot (Titanimum Elite). The staff were nice enough, but poorly trained and made a lot of mistakes. The breakfast is absolutely terrible. There is no A/C in the room, which I suppose for Juneau may be fine most of the time, but our room never got below 80F even at night with the window open. There are quite a few simple things they could change if management cared that would at least get thsi up to 3/5, but it doesn't seem like they care. Overall, just not up to standards and should not be a Marriott brand.
Great location. Clean property with all the essential facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.
Very close to the town and shopping/eating facilities.
My husband and I chose to stay here for a couple of nights before joining a 7 day cruise of the inside passage.
Its convenient location and the Marriott reputation were the main reasons for our choice. Never again would we stay there!
It was one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in.
After a lengthy journey from Brisbane to Juneau we were exhausted and expected something a little more than we received on our arrival.
We were not even greeted when entering the hotel and after a few minutes standing there the lady at the desk finally stopped gazing at her computer and acknowledged us. She asked for our passports, took an imprint of our credit card, gave us our key and basically that was it!!!!
No information about the facilities; maybe because there are none. There is no restaurant (that’s closed), no information about where to eat etc etc.
The room was extremely basic we couldn’t believe that there were paper cups for drinking tea and coffee and plastic cups for water.
There was one small bottle of “free” bottled water per day.
The air conditioning didn’t work and our sea view room was noisy.
After reading the many recent reviews and comments about this hotel after our stay, I regret that I didn’t take the time to read them before our stay.
Who would have thought that you would need to after staying at many Marriott hotels previously in our years of travelling!
I’m now just adding one more negative review to the list.
Note the quote on the key envelope…….
“You’re key to an extraordinary stay” 😳
Location and gym
No water in the rooms, even though promised by reception. Super hot in the room, can’t open windows. Staff was very slow at helping. Extremely expensive for what it is
We paid on arrival and had no opportunity to see the room or hotel. Dirty, disgusting, run down, not air, plastic broken fans in hallways and rooms, stains on carpets and bed…. Staff and manager resists helping, Manager refused to allow us a credit as we wanted to shorten stay. Shockingly, this is a Sheraton … avoid
The front staff were friendly and helpful. There was no air conditioning and we actually were there on a couple of their rare hot days. But the staff gave us more fans, and it worked out fine. The coffee in the room was super weak, but the coffee in the lobby was great and they had tea & hot cocoa too.
