Overall a great experience
Pros:

The hotel was quiet, and the staff was wonderful everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was pretty decent, with a good variety of options. The rooms could use a few updates, and the shower curtain wouldn’t stay closed, which caused water to get all over the bathroom floor. Overall, though, it was a great location, and I had a good stay. I would consider staying here again. Also a big shout out to all the front desk staff for being so patient with my many packages 😂

The location was great in relation to Carrowinds.

Cons:

The AC was not blowing out air, It radiated cool air but did not blow making the room extremely uncomfortable! Taking a shower did not help matters as it seemed the exhaust fan did not work for the bathroom and the room became a sauna at that point with no air moving! After calling the front desk at 4 am(mind you we didn't get back to the room til around midnight or a little after) the front desk receptionist was pleasant but as she said her hands were tied, no fan to give, no maintenance to call as he was at the other location, and no room to move to. She was going to leave a note for day shift and the GM. After becoming physically ill I decided to leave the next day when waking up from a few hours of napping at best and throwing up. I did notice while spending time in their bathroom the cleanliness was lacking as there was some kind of ring of nastiness lining the baseboard of the bathroom. When checking out, day shift and the GM both seemed clueless and was no help at all when requesting a partial refund (was blown off at check out and was told to contact who we book through) for leaving due to their facilities not properly working and making me uncomfortable and sick due to being subjected to their room being so hot and not taken care of. I should've known at check-in when the clerk was making comments as she was giving my room number about how the last lady was complaining and couldn't find her luggage due to their negligence as well. Lesson learned! Will not be staying there again and question if I will stay with a Fairfield in the future or not! They want a picture of my issue. How am I to take a picture of an AC not blowing air or if there's not thermostat in the room to show what the actual temperature is. Please do better next time! For whomever decides to stay.

Once breakfast is over the even shut off the juice machine … weird but also I would check the AC its was missing buttons so I Couldn’t cool the room off some .

Not worth the money. Very outdated!
Pros:

This property is very outdated. It very dull, and a not so good odor. The pool was broken and was sent to another property to use their pool and theirs was broken too. It was no accommodation. I will never book here again. Not work the money. The beds were very skeptical, pillow case was wrinkled. I did not like this place.

Horrible and felt like it was a waste of money .

Cold and very poor tasting “hot” choices

Cons:

There was no USB hook ups in the room, cable was fuzzy and not working for all of the TVs. I booked to have double beds in each room and was only given one bed per room. Bed was uncomfortable and room was dirty. staff said they overbooked the hotel, which is why they could not give me the rooms that I booked specifically for the amount of people I needed.

It was cool the white lady at the front desk was nice . And she had a nice rack 😏

It’s close to Wendy’s if you don’t have a car while visiting

Cons:

No smoking rooms ! So I had to smoke my trees outside with the real trees
