The lady who checked us in was amazing!!

The shower in our room was a stand up shower and water went everywhere in the bathroom.

Good stay new beds and pillows need to updated an some remodeling is needed. Location is great.

Cons:

Beds and Pillows need to be undated. Bathtub chipped. Hotel needs to be updated to continue to be a Marriott Property.

Wi fi was iffy. Couldn't get it to work for 2 of our 3 days. Rachel finally got it to work for us. Rachel was awesome.

Overall, what I expected. I would stay there again.

Cons:

I was unhappy with Booking.com. When I arrived at the hotel, my reservation was not in the system. I believe that it was a failure of Booking but is possible that the interaction/interface between Booking and Marriott did not work. Luckily a room was available whcih I paid for and was pleased tha Booking refunded my reservation in a timely manner.

Cost effective, easy, friendly place to stop while on a cross country driving trip.
Pros:

I left before breakfast but I appreciated that the coffee was out and ready at 5:00 am. I always stay here when driving through; the hotel is reliable, comfortable, clean, and the staff are friendly. I can really count on the Fairfield Inn in Layton to be just what I need - an easy, cost effective overnight stay while on a road trip.

Cons:

I have no complaints.
