Denver disaster
Pros:

We flew into Denver via Las Vegas through Southwest airlines. We had come from Australia to watch a basketball game. When we got to the desk we provided our package confirmation number, only to be told they could not find our reservation. The night manger then suggest we ring southwest. I asked to borrow the hotel phone, only to be told they didn’t have one. An hour after to trying to get onto southwest and continually showing reception our confirmation number we were forced to book another room at a cost of over $500. This made us late to our Denver basketball game, but what were we to do? Take our luggage to the stadium?? We were in another country, no where to stay and frankly no assistance on the Sheratons side! I would not recommend this company to anyone. Such a disappointment.

Pros:

All the staff were very good except for one person, who was impatient, frowned throughout the 2mins interaction, and behaved unprofessionally, which created a tense atmosphere. I then turned to another staff member, who was very kind and helped me resolve the issue.

Cons:

The TV was off before I went to bed, but it suddenly started playing sound at 4 a.m., which was very annoying.

The lounge is great
Pros:

We have loved our experience at the Sheraton. In the lounge, Cody Gocio is exceptional. He’s friendly, social, knowledgeable, and professional. We really enjoyed talking to him and we definitely felt valued as customers. We’ve had excellent experiences with every employee here, but he is definitely a stand out.

Have a reservation? Don’t count on it.
Pros:

An important part of planning travel is reserving a place to stay AND it being there when you arrive. I reserved a hotel room in the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel over 3 months prior to my trip. I had an early flight out in the morning, however, at 7PM the night before I was to leave, I received an “Dear Valued Customer” email (not valued enough to actually use my name). They canceled my reservation because they were “unexpectedly overcommitted”. Unexpected, really? “Where did all these people come from?” I am reminded of words from the great sage, Jerry Seinfeld, “See, you know how to take the reservation; you don't know how to HOLD the reservation. And that's the most important part of the reservation—the holding. Anybody can take them!". If you reserve a room with this hotel, you cannot be certain it will be there when you arrive.

Great place to stay in Downtown Denver
Pros:

This is a well set up hotel with all the amenities.. restaurant, bar, lounge, vehicle valet and parking garage. They even supplied humidifiers for the rooms to off set the dry Denver air! That was a huge bonus for me!
The beds were very comfortable and that also is a big bonus!
The staff was very welcoming and helpful in catering to your needs!
The location was very convenient for doing anything downtown. Great place to stay!

Cons:

The place was very busy which made it very noisy in the main social areas.

Not worth the money….
Pros:

We planned a weekend away to Denver for a play. Picked Sheraton due to reputation. We were disappointed. Check in was easy once I located the correct door. Nice gentlemen at the desk who added at the end, you have a $32 charge for xyz. But no i formation on getting the drinks, gift bag, dessert bar, etc. of you offer a gift bag, leave it in the room or hand it to people at check in. No gift bag. Dessert bar was apparently at night, most people are out at night, conveniently! Let’s just say for the extra $32 charge we did get a coffee and a mocha and muffin at checkout.

Now the room, for over 230$ I would expect a room with a good bed. I could feel the springs all night. The shower shot water on the ceiling! When was the last time housekeeping turned the water on? The wall paper was falling off the wall on the dark hallway outside our room.

If I pay that kind of money to sleep, I shouldn’t have to pay 60+ $ to park in an underground garage???
Needless to say, would not recommend.

Pésimo servicio para check in
Cons:

Una persona del front desk para el check in fue demasiado grosero. Me dio un cuarto qué no fue por el que pagué y tuve que regresar, me señaló que el no sabía cuál había pagado y me dijo enséñame la reservacion y me dio el cuarto de mala gana

Not very good for the price of a single room
Pros:

The view

Cons:

The bathroom door isn’t an actual door and doesn’t close all the way in a room for 4 people. The “free breakfast” that was included with our room for 4 people was just voucher for 2 people.

Perfect getaway
Pros:

The food was good. I attended Zahi Hawass lecture. Very nice space for the talk. Two large screens were perfect!

Cons:

I couldn’t enter the hotel because I didn’t have a key yet. I waited until people left the building before I could check in.
