Service very efficient

The motel is old, but our room was clean. The office is warm and welcoming decorated for fall. The breakfast is grab and go with a nice selection. The lady that runs it was very nice as well as her son. We stayed 2 nights and it wasn't noisy even though it was pretty full. Parking lot is small and cramped. We would stay here again as it is clean and welcoming.

This place is too cute. The owners are super friendly and kind. Lots of new renovations. Rooms were clean and cute. Bathrooms clean and newly remodeled.

The owners are excellent are very friendly and they always call you by your name and they accommodate you to the best of their ability sad they had no breakfast

It was a good place to sleep and shower. Good TV and wifi,clean room.

Upon pulling out the desk to create an eating area, I found a used syringe under the table. Later, when filling the coffee caddy, I found another and nearly jabbed it into my finger when reaching inside. Yes, really. Used needles. Oh, and they refuse to serve their advertised free breakfast due to Covid...that's fine, but that should be advertised on the site when booking, as the free breakfast was one of the reasons we booked it.

It was clean and easy access. Staff is very friendly.

Bathroom is small,bed was hard didn’t change the sheets found hair in our bed NOT OURS towels were dirty could see daylight around the door to the outside

Wonderful service! Newly renovated rooms! The place was very clean. Bathroom was brand new. Customer service was great. The gentleman who checked me in was very personal and helpful. Very welcoming. I only stayed one evening but would have been comfortable staying multiple nights.

We really enjoyed our stay we were dropping off our daughter to college and our stay was very enjoyable the upgrades were very nice in the finishings were beautiful. The front desk gentleman was awesome he even opened the breakfast room for us after breakfast was over we really appreciated that we will definitely stay here again

This place was terrible. They didn't tell us about a scheduled power outage. We spent the night with no power and had to get ready in the dark. The wifi didn't work when we did have power. There are a couple of other places to stay in Oskaloosa, go there

A truly comfortable motel. The owners are wonderful. My room was large, well presented and quiet. Arriving extra late, I was checked upon and greeted warmly.

Just the basics........ friendly check in person and the room was clean, just nothing updated about it. Old motel and the room smelled a little musty. If you are sensitive to noise, the window A/C is not something you want running all the time

It was a very nice room. The lady at the front desk was awesome! Only one complaint, there was a lid from someone else’s shampoo bottle in the shower. I stayed 3 days and it was never picked up so I know the shower was never cleaned.

You get what you pay for. I have time share suits on manhattan.$500/ night. This is a good value for arriving late and leaveing early.
No complaints.

We went to that area to see the tulip festival in Pella. While the flowers were amazing, our stay in Oskaloosa was not.
The motel's management was very responsive, the rooms inside looked okay. Outside the rooms (hallways) were not clean, and the ice station looked scary.
We arrived late on a weeknight, so just crashed the first night. The second night, when getting ready to sleep, I noticed something moving on my bed...turned out to be bedbugs. Jumped out of bed, let Hotels.com know, packed, made sure we had no stowaways, and left. It was 11 p.m. The management was cooperative and helpful and even refunded one night, but the incident left a scar on us and we will always double check from now on.

Motel is being updated and looks way better only problem was the people above us was very loud walkers ! Over all things was nice check in was easy and friendly told us of a few things going on around the area !

Let's be frank: 3-stars is probably the HIGHEST rating of ANY hotel in Oskaloosa, IA. This rural town of 10,000 population is just not your typical destination for business travelers or vacationers. Accordingly, the scale of measure needs adjustment into more intangibles, such as "super-friendly owners" in addition to the basics of location, cleanliness, safety and value. So, if you're expecting the Presidential Suite, you'll not find one in Oskaloosa. But if you need a quiet, safe, clean and affordable room for the night, check out the America's Best Value in Oskaloosa.
