Laundry prices!
We came for two days to cape town and I really liked it. The people in the hotel were nice and the room had really all what you needed. It was beautiful. The hotel is very nearly to the water front and the whole location was beautiful.

I had after 6 years once again the opportunity to stay at the Portswood for a few days. Yes the hotel is in need of a bit of renovation here and there in the rooms, but the friendly and professional staff, the cleanliness of the place and the comfortable rooms more than make up for it. The breakfast was delicious just as I remembered it. The location can also not be better - right inside the V & A Waterfront. Amazing hotel in my most favourite city!
The location is great-right on the waterfront, close to shops, restaurants, and bars. Bright, quiet, comfortable room with a stunning bathroom. The best hotel room ever.

The breakfast is delicious with a great variety to choose from, and the staff are consistently friendly, welcoming, and happy to help. It's become our go-to hotel, and we always have a fantastic stay. Highly recommended!
Fantastic location, with only being a two minute walk to the Wharf and Boardwalk. As I was staying a few days, reception/concierge were really helpful in connecting me with day spas, day trips and seemed to know all the tour guides. Exceptionally clean, wonderful restaurant with attentive staff - a wonderful alternative to some of the bigger chains.
