I have been traveling frequently for business for more than 10 years, and this was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.

The room had a very strong and unpleasant smell, which made it extremely uncomfortable to stay in. Even worse, the bathroom sink would not drain properly. I reported the issue to the hotel, but more than half a day passed and nobody came to fix it.

For a hotel, basic cleanliness, room condition, and timely maintenance should be the minimum standard. Unfortunately, my experience here was very disappointing.

I will not stay at this hotel again.

Cons:

That the bar wasn't open earlier in the day for an afternoon cocktail and that on the breakfast buffet at exactly 10 you weren't allowed to get anything else to drink from it.

Pros:

I don’t understand the negative reviews here. Room was huge, nicely clean and comfortable. Very good location, we rented a car from JFK and parking was free next to the hotel in parking house. Many restaurants in area with reasonable prices. Bus stop just front of hotel going to the central Manhattan with 15-20minutes. I would say it was even more comfortable location then stay in Manhattan. Because we wanted to move around in NJ area also.

Cons:

I would say breakfast would need to improve. Only vegatable or fresh food was apple and orange. And using a paper plates and plastic fork and knifes should not be ok in 2026.

Good location, good breakfast but dated rooms
Pros:

Good location for Giants game and NYC. Great breakfast.

Cons:

Too expensive for dated rooms, have stayed here three times in past 4 years, price has doubled in 4 years.

Our family enjoyed our stay
Pros:

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean, and the view of the city was wonderful. We all enjoyed the complimentary breakfast.

Cons:

While we did enjoy our time at the pool, the peeling paint and the view of several dumpsters right outside most of the windows wasn’t a vibe consistent with the rest of the hotel. The pool area could use some updating, but again, it didn’t affect our fun there.

Cons:

My bathroom sink in room 228 did not drain. I reported the issue, however no one came during my 4 day stay to fix it. It was inconvenient to have to use the small sink across from the refrigerator to brush my teeth.
