Location and price
The bed was hard, the room on the second floor with no elevator, breakfast was meh.
Terrible. Fly's in the room. Sticky bathroom floor. No 👎 ice. Never again!!!
Not to far from downtown
Rooms were smelly
Everything was perfect and the staff was very friendly
Impolite staff.
if you want a room that reeks of cat pee look no further! was told pull out couch was removed as well. meaning if you rely on it to make sure your family has enough space to sleep, you will be dealing with this inconvenience. luckily for us it wasn’t needed, but look for other places. even if it is $50 more you will thank yourself.
We usually stay downtown in Stillwater. But its usually very expensive. We decided to try this hotel and got a great rate for our room . The outside of the property could use some TLC. Fortunately it was decent inside, decent room and beds. We did use the pool and hot tub and the area was good. This is not a walkable property to downtown. It was a short drive. Its a basic property. If spending time in Stillwater for a special occasion I will stay downtown again. But for a quick trip where you don't want to drop a lot of money on the hotel this works.
Breakfast end time way too early, especially on a weekend day. Staff was helpful and friendly.
The staff was friendly.
The rooms were musty and had a moldy smell. They felt damp and sheets had stains. The nightly rate was extremely high for the low quality stay unfortunately.
Absolutely nothing.
Room 105 we booked. Go there and it smelled of mold. We asked foe a different room and that one smelled of cigarettes. We looked at a 3rd room 225 and smelled less of cigarettes so we took that one. It was mid night coming from a wedding and just wanted to sleep. I sprayed my perfume on the curtains and carpet. American flag out front is ripped to shreads. Weeds everywhere out front. Cobwebs all over the entry outside the hotel. We felt like an abandoned hotel when we pulled in. Room was $237 for one night. What a rip off.
Everything was fine for the price, all but the mattress. It was the worst bed I've ever tried to sleep in.
Bed was comfortable, quick check in process. Quiet place.
Below-average Inn stay. There were a few times I wanted to ask for more shampoo or makeup remover towelettes, but when no one would come to the front desk, I would just go back to my room and inevitably see a house cleaning cart and take them from there. During my second night, it got down to the 40s outside and I was getting cold in my room. I tried turning the heat on but as soon as I did the fire alarm went off. So I turned it off and just went to sleep cold. The fire alarm beeped about once / minute for the remainder of my stay after that.
Location was good, close to the Wedding venue, nice selection of restaraunts to choose from
Property outside was unkempt, long grass, 3 dead trees, damage to the front of the awning, the American flag was in tatters.
Unappealing curb appeal
Inside, the beds were very uncomfortable, the mattresses were old and hard.
The bathroom was dirty, the toilet was so low it seemed like it belonged in a gradeschool bathroom.
The in room coffeepot did not work, had to bring it down to exchange it.
There were no hotel 'housekeeping rules' anywhere in the room or front desk for that matter. We had no idea when checkout time was, how to dial the front desk, fire/ emergency escape routes not posted, etc
It seemed as if the property had recently been acquired and not brought up to 'standards' yet
Unfortunately, it was booked non-refundable so we were stuck, also was unable to change the reservation from 3 adults to 2 adults, thus seriously overpaying for less than desirable stay
Lovely stay… hotel us clean and quiet.
The room was clean but smelled like mildew. The staff was very nice. The pool did not look clean.
Breakfast was done too early. For $300/night that room should have been clean. The bathroom was not!
