everything is very old and the price is too high
The only thing we enjoyed was the pool!
Cockroaches as big as quarters. Didn’t get a new room till the second night ….. the tv did not work, we could not hook up our Xbox, half the outlets didn’t work. The radio was broken and the phone in the room didn’t work. No help from anyone!!!
The staff was great
The first room was run down, air conditioner didn’t work, TV didn’t work, floors were dirty, and it had a lingering old smell, and dirty walls.
The second room was similar, however, the air
conditioner did work while the rest was the same. I would also like to mention the people who linger in Vehicles outside all day and night.
Price
The rooms were not up to bar and there were homeless individuals surrounding the property as well as one that was in the building. It was not safe for my athletes. It was so bad we checked out and went to another hotel.
First thought walking into the room was that it looked decent. Beds looked clean.
First thing we noticed was there was no ventilation on the bathroom. Then we noticed there was signs of mold in the bathroom vent. The walls in the bathroom was also dirty. My kids pointed on dirty walls in the room too. Do not take off your shoes or socks, floors may have carpet but feel sticky!
I like the fact that the Hotel was walking distance to and from the train station.
What I didn't like was being told one thing to extend my stay over the phone and then a half an hour later told that the representative over the phone was not telling me the correct information and having to find emergency shelter because of it. The person at the front desk was unapologetic in her delivery and the entire trip to Fresno was a disaster thereafter. I don't know who's job it is to train the people on the phone or in charge of the people physically there at the hotel but both areas should be examined and focused on. There should be no discrepencies between associates within the main frame of the hotel and further if there happens to be an issue, the person who is in charge of letting the guests know that bad news is on the horizon, they should have a tone and graciousness about them because giving someone notice that what they were told was wrong, and that they will have to leave the room immediately, is devistatingly so wrong I will never stay at that hotel again. And it will be a long time before I can send anyone I know to that hotel, as a reference , I don't care how close it is to the train station. It was totally unacceptable and I hope there is some major training happening soon.
