Staff was helpful and friendly. The area was nice. Downtown had really had a facelift. Plenty of restaurants and such. Very walkable.
The hotel has a bad oder throughout. Everything in the room was run down and tattered. There was just nothing special about the place. One staff member said they were supposed to have remodeling soon. So things may be looking up soon.

Pool under construction-no breakfast
This should not be under the IHG brand. The new upgraded Motel 6 is much better. I was first encountered with a lobby that liked I a ghost town. It was dirty musty and freezing colder than the outside temperature. The room was nothing like an expected. It’s was outdated the furniture stank of smoke and mold. The shower was broken and the water was cold ASF!! Although I had a so called suite I slept on the sofa it seemed cleaner than the bed. The carpet was even stained and should have been replaced years ago. The value was way over priced for the dump I had to endure.

It was a filthy old hotel which was not worth what I paid for the night. Bathtub was rusted and not clean. The shower drain was backing up when we tried to shower. There was no ice machines that worked and shower jell or lotion available. Swipe uv blue on the room, that will answer it all.

The location was perfect for dining.
I wasn't happy with housekeeping. No attempts were made to clean the room regularly.
Close to Liberty University, easy to find parking.
The breakfast wasn’t as good. The shower was broken, there was no blackout curtain so the sun wakes us up!

Dated and needs updating
The bathroom had a little commode, my keys didn't work both days, I had to get manager to open door, the air didnt work & it took 10 minutes for the water to heat up
