Stayed here whilst visiting Memphis. This wasn’t the hotel we booked initially, as our booked hotel closed prior to us going. We arrived and were checked in without any problems. We got breakfast included. With this, you need to get vouchers from reception for each day you have breakfast. This lets you get the Delta Sunrise breakfast. If you get anything else and it costs more, then you just pay the difference.
The hotel is located across the road from The Peabody Hotel, if you want to go and watch the daily duck walk. Beale Street is about a 5-minute walk away and the Civil Rights museum, where Dr Martin Luther King was shot, is around 15 – 20 minutes away. Rooms are cleaned daily. Hotel was nice with a great location. Rooms were a decent size and were clean throughout. Staff were great.
We visited Graceland, as most people who visit Memphis do, and we asked reception to book a cab to get us there. We got a bloke called Ray, from “Bumming a ride transportation”. He is a self-employed cab driver. Lovely fellow. He dropped us off and picked us up. Fare was around $35 dollars each way from memory. On picking us up he took us on a little detour and showed us where Elvis was originally buried prior to his final resting place at Graceland. He also showed us the house where Elvis’s dad moved after he re-married, together with the house where the partner of Elvis lived after he was divorced from Pricilla. I didn’t see this information whilst walking around Graceland, so it was nice of Ray to show us around. It is possible if we didn’t get Ray, we might not have known about any of it.
Ray took us to the airport for our onward flight. The fare was about $45.
On arriving in Memphis, we went to the taxi rank at the airport. We waited for about 20 minutes before a taxi came. So, if you are waiting one will come along. Might take a while though.
On the day we were booked for Graceland, our time slot was 10:30am. My advice is to book the earliest slot you can. It took us all day to go around the house and museum. There are a few places to eat on site. The tour we done was a self-guided audio tour. This takes you round the house and grounds giving you information as you go on an iPad mini. The tour doesn’t include any of the upstairs. This is off limits due to the personal nature of the rooms. The amount of information and exhibits is vast. I learnt a lot of things about Elvis throughout the day. Believe me when I say that you need a full day to make the most of all the exhibits.

Well appointed rooms. Excellent staff. Who gave us specific pointers to Music venues
The Parking charges were too high. It should've been subsidized. After valet delivered the car when we were on our way we found that the air was low on one tire which turned out to be apuncture
Location
My room heat did not work called front desk they agreed to put us in another room went downstairs just to be told the system was down, ask for extra blankets for 10 mins just to be told they couldn’t find them. Tub draining issue as well floors stained and trash in the corner of the room
Clean

Don’t do it. This hotel is so dated. No plugs by bed to charge my phone nor was there a lamp by the bed. Bathroom is dated-website says it’s has been recently renovated but I would love to know what they did. Not up to Hilton standards and I don’t think anyone would stay if it wasn’t for the location. The lobby and area outside your room does not have AC. Restaurant is wonderful and staff were friendly
It was quite convenient to downtown attractions.
Well, the room was a little sparse on simple amenities. I don't travel much anymore but, it's the first time I've ever stayed at any hotel the didn't have a small notepad of paper and a pen to scratch down a note or something, I would have been convenient to have a channel guide for the television. We had breakfast one morning at the King Union restaurant and the selection was pretty meager.
They charged me twice for my stay and took almost 30 days to correct it overcharged me for parking
Location
Extra charges that could have been prevented. Charged for prepaid breakfast - long hold on charges/release of funds
Clean, great location
Housekeeping
The location was perfect
No mini fridge
No microwave
Had to pay to park
Bathroom door was falling apart and put back together with screws
Too expensive
Excellent location for exploring downtown Memphis
We did not try the breakfast because we slept in. The location was wonderful!
We were disappointed the pool was closed!
