Great location—close to restaurants and shops, and just a short drive to Hurricane Ridge Park.
Pros:

Great location within walking distance to the town, restaurants, and shops. The views from the top were stunning.

Cons:

The room and bathroom are somewhat outdated and could benefit from a fresh coat of paint and some minor updates.

Pros:

Staff were very kind and the beds were very comfy. We were upgraded to a room overseeing the water and it was wonderful.

Great location, but add on $10 for parking
Pros:

Great seafront location (book a waterfront view). Large, clean room. Nice staff.

Cons:

Extra $10 obligatory charge for parking and other facilities eg hot tub and pool, even though the description says free parking.

Rude check in from Mimi. Weird charges - almost $200 - on my card that I’m still trying to figure out. Not enough of anything in the room (towels, coffee, blankets, toilet paper, Kleenex…). Big housecleaning bins sitting in the hall 24/7.

Perfect for a Christmas get away
Pros:

My room overlooked the harbor, the view was amazing. Clean, spacious and within walking distance to the Black Ball ferry to Victoria BC. The quaint shops in that area were fun to walk through. The walkway along the water was a beautiful place to take a walk.

The staff were great! The room was centrally located.

Cons:

I stayed 3 nights and 4 days. They didn't service the room at all, and I feel like for that long, I should have had fresh towels about halfway through.

Pros:

The room was very comfortable and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. This was the best hotel of our short trip. The location is excellent. There are some great restaurants nearby with delicious food.

Cons:

We were charged a $25 deposit at check-in. When we checked out, we were told that $10 would not be refunded. When we asked what the charge was for, the staff member said it was a fee for parking and internet. This was very strange, as we were never informed about this fee in advance. No one asked whether we had a car or used the parking at all.
