Wonderful retro gem!
Pros:

I really love the layout of this hotel and I really hope it leans into retro its charm instead of forcing gray-bland palates and modern finishes. The courtyard rooms are spectacular and the staff is delightful. Fantastic location. When and if I have to stay in the Tri-Cities I’ll be staying here.

Would Stay Here Again 100%
Pros:

Excellent staff, great rooms, very nice pool/hot tub, protected area (courtyard) for kids to play plus the breakfast offered the full range - great selections and fresh/hot. Steakhouse 100 steps away was excellent as well.

Wonderful Service
Pros:

The first night I had issues in the room. I have extreme asthma and there was mold in the air duct in the room so it was a horrible first night and for the he second night they moved me to the top floor. This worked well and it was great!

Pros:

Perfect location. I left our room and had a separate living room and it was only two story. The view of the river is stunning.

We lived the vibe and lovely staff of this property and highly recommend a stay here
Pros:

This hotel is a living legacy of the former quality of hotel designs. The size of everything (the lobby, the guest rooms, the pool, the interior courtyard) is beyond anything seen in a newer property. It was likely a very high end hotel in its heyday. It has great charm and is central to all local amenities and has wonderful decks and patios to open doors and windows.

Cons:

The only downside would be the fitness center seems a basement afterthought and the curved nature of the building would be taxing to navigate if one were limited in mobility. Slightly dated, but for the price, it is well above average

Cons:

Didn't allow late checkout, and the lunch service was the worst I have ever experienced. Cordiroy (probably the only person that knew what he was doing at this place) was alloing late checkout but mentioned it needs to be done 24 hrs prior. We did, and the guy at the time said no, and gave ridiculous resaoning. Just said no. Without even knowing room or customer information. Just said "we need to clean the room". But of course I am sure they have a rush of people planning a stay, late Sunday afternoon 🤣.

We were there for lunch. The waitress came over and asked for the mayo packet off of my son's plate back... Who does that.. Also, she gave dressing options brought the salad and then told us the option we chose was not available. Brought the salad anyway and charged us for it (without dressing).

I will say, the breakfast was amazing - but everyone was being charged. I felt after all of this, that was petty and super cheap..

Location was great. Good breakfast. Outdoor pool

Cons:

Rooms were outdated and the spider webs were all over the pato and even had them in the room when we woke up. I did leave the patio door open quite awhile though. That time of the season I guess. Would of been nice to have the pool heated but the kids didn’t mind
