Sarah at the front desk, defines what the hospitality industry should be. After a very long day of multiple flights, it’s refreshing to be met with a friendly, kind greeting. Needless to say, the warm cookies are the best part about staying at Doubletrees!!!
We checked in the same night as a kids cheer competition. As soon as we walked in, the lobby was pure chaos. At least 150+ young girls running around and screaming.
Sarah at the front desk is an angel. She was quick with check in even during an obscene level of loudness. Service was great, Sarah let us have a late check out which was needed as young girls were running and screaming down the halls til midnight+. I was able to sleep with a melatonin but my boyfriend was up until 130AM.
Also around 9pm, I believe someone had pulled the fire alarm. There was a loud speaker announcing to go to a safe shelter in place. This went on for about 30 minutes. My boyfriend and I stayed in the room, assuming it was a prank. I looked out of the window and there were fire truck and about 200+ kids and parents.
Sarah was here until mid night last night and was still here early morning as she was the one who answered when my boyfriend called for a late check out
Without Sarah’s great customer service, I would have rated this trip at 1 star.
Disappointing stay. We stayed 3 nights in a connecting King/Queen rooms on 15th floor. Water lines must have been messed up. In the early mornings, toilet water was hot, cold water tap on the sink was hot, hot water tap was warm, shower was scalding hot. In the afternoon and evening, no hot water at all, showers were cold. Keycards kept resetting daily, one of our rooms were unaccusable with keycards, and hotel maintenance couldn't figure it out, luckily, we had connecting rooms so had to leave connect doors open to access the 2nd room. They have 4 main elevators, only 2 were in service. Guests were urged to also use the "VIP" elevators (no joke, they had a paper printout taped to the wall) which were just the service elevators, so you would ride those with staff delivering food, cleaning supplies, etc. Easily the worst stay i have had in years of traveling. Will never stay here again and advise guests to look elsewhere. I am a loyal Hilton Gold member, so giving an honest review as i was disappointed with this one.
One of the worst hotels we have stayed at. We were forced to stay there for a stay to play volleyball tournament. No hot water. 2 clean towels for 4 people for 3 days. We are Hilton honor members and were not given any water. My husband walked to the lobby at 3 am one night looking for water. No one at the front desk. Elevators did not work. Not exaggerating at times waited for 15 minutes. If they plan to host teams and families, we at least expect decent service. Plus side the bar tender was nice. Worst hotel. Don’t stay there. I’m not sure housekeeping even cleaned our room.
This hotel does not provide hot water in showers of sinks. Several of our group have changed rooms multiple times, asked repeatedly for help, but at best you're gonna get a tepid shower. If you also run the vent fan you'll freeze your...cookie before you're dry.
I stayed three nights at this Doubletree with a group. I drove a bus with several people to visit Omaha and stay downtown. ALL of the staff was exceptional with any needs and help for me and the senior citizens I had with me. The staff deserves a lot of kudos! The rooms and property are extremely clean and modern. The hotel has a shuttle that goes within 4 miles which is a nice feature and great for going anywhere downtown. The free and wonderful cookies were a nice perk too! I enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this place.
Melanie is the best, very kind and has a good sense of humor. The entire staff was very kind and my entire experience was pleasant.
Melanie was fantastic and friendly early in the morning! I struggled to decide what I wanted and she offered excellent ideas and ultimately made the experience enjoyable

Ally was outstanding! I needed to work telehealth and she, without hesitation, provided me with solutions. She went above and beyond to be helpful. So nice to see an organization empower and allow their employees to make decisions like this on the fly and give their customers great service. Thank you Ally and Doubletree!!
Sarah provided outstanding service during our stay. When we reported that the tub wasn’t draining properly, she immediately took action. She apologized for the inconvenience, quickly arranged a new room, and made sure everything was perfect before we moved. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and friendly attitude turned a frustrating situation into a smooth experience. We truly appreciate her help and excellent customer service.
Last Saturday evening, my husband I stayed at your hotel. Check in process went great, the gal at the front desk was friendly. She gave us our room keys and we headed to our room on the 4th floor. Our room was clean and we were happy with the hotel. Then things went downhill! My husband decided to shower and I was unpacking, when all of a sudden I turned around and a maid was in our room! No knock, no anything! She scared the crap out of me! I’m still perplexed as to why she would come in our room because it was already clean, hopefully she’s not a thief.
When I settled down from being scared, my husband and I decided to go out to eat etc on Saturday evening. When we returned, around 11pm, we thought we would go to the bar for a nightcap. It was closed already, even though you have advertisements stating it is open till 12. When I asked, the gal said and I quote,” they closed at 10:30 because they felt like closing early.
Sunday morning when we were leaving the hotel, I decided I would like a Starbucks. They were open because I seen the lights were on, but no one in sight. I seen a couple people sitting with coffees so I thought I would wait. We waited about 5 mins, still no one, so decided to leave.
Do Better Doubletree!
This is our second stay here and they've both been lovely. Friendly check in and service. I'm particular about beds and these are very comfortable, it's a good nights sleep- we heard no extra commotion from other rooms above or below us, nor the hallway. I'd like to give a special shout out to Melanie at Starbucks, she was very kind and attentive to me and others. It didn't go unnoticed that she was taking care with keeping the area and utensils used very clean and tidy. And she had fabulous hair 😀 I'm sure we'll be back here again.
Great experience. The staff go above and beyond to assist with your needs. The breakfast buffet was a wonderful addtion. The staff that managed breakfast area are clean, professional and kind. We arrived late and the welcome to the hotel was very needed. Sarah was helpful throughout our stay. I must say from top to bottom all staff was amazing. The location is very walkable. However the shuttle is top tier for the Zoo and Airport. My family and I will definitely return whenever visiting Omaha.

17 years ago it seemed easy to go through the motions. Today with the passed renovations it seemed hard. Crammed room space especially the bathroom. Not worth the money. The last 2 nights at Little America in Cheyenne put this place to shame.
