Red Lion Hotel Coos Bay

Our toilet ran all night both nights, we had ants in our room and couldn't feed our dog because the ants attacked his food bowl. We complained and were told maintenance would come and fix the toilet and bring ant traps. He never came. The air and heater didn't work either. The pool is not heated, was cold but I swam anyway. They did credit me a total of $100.00 off of a bill of $367.00.

The first room we were given had water in front of it and the room smelled really bad. We asked for a different room which we were given it was somewhat better. There was still a stint in the room, the bed was uncomfortable and the toilet ran all night long. We were extremely disappointed with our stay especially for the money that we paid. We were going to let someone know when we checked out however there was no one at the desk.

The hotel is very outdated. It’s more like a motel than a hotel. The first room we were assigned, the keys did not work. The second room had a very old, musky smell. The pillows were old and lumpy. The bed was not comfortable causing me to wake up several times. But the worst is the horrible carpet smell all night. I would not recommend this place to others.

Breakfast milk was sour. Maybe bigger options for breakfast. Third thing, the hot tub was not working.

Place was not clean we found trash in the sink behind the toilet was gross pee all over. And it smelled the last time we stayed there it was the same wat all the trash cans were full and the beds. Uou can tell the sheets were dirty and they were just pulled up. I always thought red lion was a top of line hotel mow you look worse a motel 6. It looks like the maids are yrying to get done as soon as possible and dont care

the check in process was easy. As soon as I opened the door to our room we were disgusted by the smell of mildew and urine. There were stains all over the carpet and there was hair on the floor in the bathroom by the sink and balled up used toilet paper on the floor. Needless to say we did not stay and immediately left.

The 1st room we were in had a musty odor, items were not being cleaned properly (see pictures). We were told it was a handicapped room, but the tub was rather narrow and only a show chair existed - a shower would have been better.

Property is old, worn out, and dirty. The breakfast that was offered consisted of cold cereal and soggy microwave burritos you had to heat yourself. We were juggled around between four different rooms. The first room the door would not unlock because the door lock was so worn out. Another room we were put in was dirty and someone had been in the bed. They upgraded one of the two rooms we booked, which was nice of them. Rooms themselves smelled musty and smoky. Peeling wallpaper, stained carpet.
