J.r. Ewing (Dallas) could be right around the corner - very cool 80ies style, but well maintained. Spacious rooms, nice pool, helpful staff. Perfect location.
Asks for a room that does not face the motorway - can be quite noisy.

From the outside the hotel looks outdated and kinda run down
River front location and access to walkway along the river. Breakfast was great
Proximity to the airport and airplane noise. Location is far from down town
Stayed at this location several times now over the years. Consistent, staff very nice. Same people from the very first time several years ago. Food is great, and room service...yes! Works for families and just adults vacationing. Just across the bridge from Washington so really nice to not have to drive all the way into Portland. So convenient!
Everyone that represented the Holiday Inn Portland was very professional, very courteous, very honest, and worked with a lot of pride. I had a great stay for the week. And I would up, sign up and stay there another week. If I come back to Portland what the entire staff was nice and courteous and good to me. And I really appreciate that, thank you
Stayed a night after our American Cruise Line cruise and loved it. Very spread out for a hotel but since the cruise line began and ended here at one time I can see how it evolved. Restaurant was excellent as were the servers. We had lunch and dinner here. Very clean and all employees we encountered were friendly and professional. Only regret is that the cruise doesn’t stop here
Always enjoy river view. But they really need to do something about spiderwebs on balconies and out of building. They are ready for Halloween!

Good location. Easy parking. Lots of activities to do on site. The room was clean and comfortable. Disappointed out view was a parking lot. But, it seems a lot of accessible rooms have the worst views. That was all that was disappointing.
Clean, comfortable bed, great breakfast.
It was very dark and old-looking everywhere. We had a river view, and there was a board running right through the window at eye level.
