Nothing, to be honest.
The most annoying thing was the extremely nasty smell in the rooms. It is so extremely bad that at some stage I was afraid of falling asleep because I did not know if this was even harmful. The rooms are dark. The floor was greasy and sticky, like they have never seen cleaning and water. You try to avoid walking on the carpets. In my room, the terrace door could only be closed with a piece of wood put into the door. I did not feel safe in 1st floor because I felt anyone could enter through that door. The noise of air conditioning was extreme. Actually, I barely slept whole night. Breakfast was below standard.
I have been travelling a lot in the US. All in all, this was by far the worst hotel I gabe ever stayed in. I am reconsidering ever booking Marriott again, as I felt that there should be some trust in booking with this chain, which is not the case. I even reconsider booking through booking.com as such hotels should not be listed there. I looked up other feedback, I am not the only one reporting the above. It is all known.
The only positive I can say is that I only had to stay one night there.
Todo excelente pero sobre todo el personal muy amigable y servicial.
Todo estuvo muy bien.
Location was perfect for our trip and wifi was good
rooms are definately showing signs of wear and tear and need to be updated, but very clean
Expected a hotel hug actually is mini condos. Which was super nice. Very clean, spacious, breakfast was great.
Having to pay for parking, as well as visitors have to pay separate for parking. The deep end in the pool needs to be cleaned, floor was dirty & had an odor, Was only able to stay on the 3ft side which was super clean. No plastic plates to be able to bring breakfast to your room. And toilet in the room needs to be updated.
La ubicación
No se organizó la habitación, independiente de que sean 2 noches debían por lo menos hacer las camas, el sofacama muy incomodo salí con dolor de espalda.
The room was like a small apartment with a loft for a second sleeping area. It had plenty of space to relax and sit without feeling cramped. It was a cluster of 2 story buildings each with multiple units.
There were no elevators so you had to walk up to the second story unit which meant carrying up all you belongings. Not bad but you need to know this before booking if you need a 1st floor unit.
We did not eat breakfast there.
That the deposit is so high. Its higher than the room. Price. I do not understand why the deposit needs to be 2x more than the room. Other high end hotels do not have such a high deposit on their rooms. That needs to be revisited with management. Besides that the hotel is good.
The location was okay.
1. The 2 bedroom suite rooms were not advertised as 2 floors, and one bedroom being a loft … not a room.
2. The HVAC was TERRIBLE. When we walked in, the HVAC was off and it was very hot. We turned on the system and it took hours to cool the first floor. Then we went to the second floor!!! The first floor was 75 degrees and the second floor was 87 degrees!!! We went to the front desk to explain the problem and all they said was “this is the first we are hearing about this.” No one came to assess or fix the problem. Ever. No one followed up on it. Our toilet bowl was full of black mildew spots by day 4 of our stay because the water in the bowl was so warm it was the perfect breeding ground for miserably hot and terribly gross.
3. The kitchen is truly severely LACKING - not even a full set of measuring spoons. We booked the place because we needed a place where we could cook. We could barely scrape a meal together. 1 knife. No cutting board. No measuring cups at all. The dishwasher bottom rack is lacking wheels on one side so every time we pulled it out, it pulled the rubber out of the side of the washer and it would no longer close. We fixed it over and over.
4. Our room was just smelly and dirty.
Convenient. Comfortable rooms and clean. A bit dated but the mattress was excellent. Amazing breakfast too!!
Toilets were very low and difficult for an elderly person to use. Just change and updated all toilets.
Location
There was no reason to charge for parking in a suburban area. Stop pretending the rate is x to stay there, when it is really y when you add in the parking.
There was no body wash or conditioner in the pump bottles in the shower. Good thing I had my own. That tells me that no one is really paying attention.
Perfect for Dog and VISITING UCONN
The breakfast was great, with a variety of food, both hot and cold. The staff was also friendly.
When we arrived, our room had one window wide open, and there was a weird smell (which did not go away when we shut the window). The couch was stained. We didn’t even want to sit on it. It needs to be replaced.
