Wonderful, peaceful, romantic
Pros:

The staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful. The balcony was architecturally stunning and had amazing views of the city. The bed was very comfortable and we slept great.

Cons:

It was great! The food for room service breakfast was so-so. Perfectly adequate and would do it again for the convenience, but the only area of improvement I can imagine!

Pros:

The room was large & dark, during the night. At ~8:00, when I woke, it was a little brighter - perfect for me.

Cons:

Cons:

Old hotel, bad value for money, old rooms, holes in the walls, cables laying around behind under the table. Everything is extra, food is so bad and so expensive, what a let down this hotel

Great stay, delicious cocktails in the Laurel Court but lousy breakfast.
Pros:

Reserved a Golden Gate suite that was absolutely incredible. Beautiful views, comfy bed and great products in the bath.

Cons:

The breakfast at the Laurel Court was mediocre at best and service was very slow.

Very disappointing stay at what should have been a luxury property

Location and staff were wonderful

Cons:

The room was falling a part and old in so many ways. I have stayed at many Fairmont properties and in luxury hotels around the world. This was so disappointing.
Our ceiling had multiple areas of water damage and cracked, chipping paint. The bathroom had dark mold in multiple grout locations and I questioned how long it had been since it was properly cleaned and inspected. The desk chair material was literally shredding off. There were no bathrobes provided. Despite being a guest and paying a lot per night to stay, the gym was not included in the cost.

No hot water and no heat
Pros:

My reservation was made by AmEx and was prepaid. Had an early check-in and wasn’t told there was no hot water and no heat. My room is freezing. Can’t take a shower. Staff is all lovely. Had lunch, kept my jacket on thinking they had the air conditioning on. My room is nice, all staff is lovely I’m just freezing to death.
