Lage und Anmutung des Zimmers (Superior!):
Die Aussicht ist der Innenhof und zwar ein Parkhaus mit seiner ganzen "Schönheit" plus Lärm von Abluftgebläsen oder Ähnlichem.
Das Zimmer selbst war einem Krankenhauszimmer ähnlich "TV eingerahmt wie beim Arzt zur Betrachtung der Röntgenbilder", der Blick vom Bett zur Eingangstüre und zur Nische für Garderobe und Kaffeeautomaten hatte was von Abstellkammer.
Das erhaltene Superior Zimmer (137) wird dem Anspruch des Hotels in keinster Weise gerecht, auch der Preis passt da nicht.

Les chambres et la literie sont de qualité

Cons:

Le bruit ! Visiblement cet hotel organise des événements avec de la musique extrêmement forte. A notre arrivée, tout le quartier était inondé de la musique émanant de cette "party". Dans notre chambre, nous avions l'impression de participer à la fête tellement nous entendions la musique. A notre demande, on nous a relogés dans une autre chambre à l'autre bout de l'hôtel. Non seulement nous entendions encore la musique (de manière atténuée certes) mais à celle-ci s'ajoutait le bruit de la rue. Comble de malchance, c'était un soir de match de foot et visiblement l'équipe locale a gagné car une bonne partie de la nuit nous entendions les supporters crier. La nuit ne fût vraiment pas reposante.

Ein stilvoller und entspannter Aufenthalt im Herzen der Fuggerstadt mit hervorragendem Service.
Pros:

Das Hotel befindet sich an einer ausgezeichneten Lage im Zentrum der Stadt. Die Zimmer sind hochwertig ausgestattet und sehr sauber gehalten. Man merkt sofort, dass es sich um ein Fünf-Sterne-Hotel handelt.

Die Mitarbeitenden an der Rezeption sind eher jung, aber äusserst freundlich, professionell und zuvorkommend. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet überzeugt auf ganzer Linie. Die Auswahl ist vielseitig, frisch zubereitet und bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas Passendes.

Alles in allem ein hervorragendes Hotel in Augsburg und Umgebung, das ich definitiv weiterempfehlen kann.

Cons:

Generell gibt es nichts Grossartiges zu bemängeln, ausser dass der Concierge etwas freundlicher hätte sein können. Er wirkte an diesem Tag ziemlich gestresst und überfordert. Ein Lächeln hat schliesslich noch niemandem geschadet. Ansonsten war alles top.

Very recommended hotel
Pros:

The location can't be more in the centre of the old town, all main sightseeing and shopping areas very close. The hotel room was spacious, the beds are comfortable. Only the view was directly to the car parking house, but it didn't matter as we didn't intend to sit at the window anyway. The breakfast is excellent and the staff is very helpful. Really enjoyed the stay at Maximilian's!
