Location, cleanliness, professional staff. My room was spacious impeccably clean, the king mattress was like sleeping on cloud
It sounds corny, but there was nothing. I was very satisfied
Nice but a bit outdated - time to upgrade to walk in showers and more colorful surroundings
Location the clones of the room, the comfort of the bed
The staff were very friendly & accommodating. Nice location. Room was clean & even though we were facing the highway the room was quiet.
It was in a great location. Very convenient to the downtown area. The staff was amazing and made our anniversary trip very special.
Nothing
We stayed at the Omni Providence for two nights in a top floor Signature Executive Room, and this was one of the more disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had at this premium price point.
The issues started immediately at check-in. We were given keys to a room on the 15th floor, only to arrive and find a “maintenance in progress” sign on the door. When we opened it, there was a maintenance worker inside who began loudly shouting that he was working in the room and questioning why it had been assigned to guests. It was awkward, unprofessional, and frankly avoidable.
We went back to the front desk and were told there was no maintenance scheduled for that room, which clearly wasn’t accurate. We were then reassigned to another room on the same floor (Room 1576).
Unfortunately, that room appeared not to have been properly cleaned or inspected at all. See photos.
* The window shade was completely broken and off the roller, leaving us with no privacy or light control
* The shower had visible mold/mildew in the track and deteriorating caulking
* The toothbrush holder still had dried toothpaste residue on it
* The shower dispensers were incorrectly stocked (two shampoos, one conditioner, and no body wash)
* There was no bar soap provided near the bathtub
* The wallpaper throughout the room had visible stains and wear
At nearly $1,000 for two nights with valet parking, these are not minor oversights—they point to a complete lack of quality control.
What made it worse was the disconnect between what is advertised and what actually exists. The hotel website lists turndown service (never provided), and photos online show a pool and hot tub that are no longer part of the property. Those details absolutely influenced our decision to book.
We raised these concerns at checkout and were told they would be “documented,” but there was no apology or attempt to make things right.
To be fair, the location is convenient (though the mall is sketchy) and we received a welcome amenity at check-in, but that does not make up for being assigned a room under maintenance, moved into a room that wasn’t properly cleaned, and then having no meaningful service recovery.
Bottom line: this felt like a poorly managed property charging premium prices. Until the hotel improves its room upkeep, communication, and accuracy in advertising, I would not consider it a good value. Stay elsewhere.
Gold star service from the entire staff, starting with Alicia, Reservation Manager to the moment the front desk fared me goodbye. The top notch service and positive vibes, have been a consistent theme over my many visits. The rooms are comfortable, clean and the restaurant/bar serves excellent food, wine and cocktails. I highly recommend this property and its convenient location. Well done to all at the Omni Providence!
Location is great
It was perfect in every way, location, room, staff and amenities. I stayed as we were at a trade show next door. Close to the train station we walked to the property and checked in was immediate
Very loud banging all night and traffic from the interstate.
I booked a King room. Was give a double-bed room instead
